Garez-vous ici au lieu du parking plus haut sur la route. Campé ici en avril avec 5 autres campeurs. Pas de nuitée maintenant (septembre 2020) le garde forestier est venu et a frappé à la porte très amicalement mais pas de séjour!

Park here instead of the car park further up the road. Camped here in April with 5 other campers. No overnight stays now (sept 2020) ranger came and knocked the door very friendly but no staying!

Beautiful area but had to move from the car park at the far end and then the one at the toilets through the night due to multiple men turning up for rendezvous. 09/06/2021

Arrived here for lunch, Tuesday 20th July. A few cars, 1 van (T5), and mine another t5. Amazingly quiet, I reckon you might get away with turning up late and winging it in a small van. Lovely view across Lake. Such a nice place. Height restriction was just high enough for a t5, maybe slightly higher, but no roof boxes or bikes. Worth going for the tranquility.

New height restriction has been installed, still a great spot but soon to be no more

Lovely clean and quiet spot, a few other campers and Moho's but plenty of room. Nice walk along the reservoir, plenty of room for dogs to run. Sat nav sent me along lots of single track roads with only a few passing points, would not recommend! Easiest appears to be off the A30 at Bolventor, when you approach the car park it's on your left. Didn't stay the night but no restrictions.

Great place and views but, had a knock on the van in the morning to say no overnight stays from one of the rangers :(

  • 5/5

Great place to stop but I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t have a height restriction on it by the end of the year due to people’s selfishness. People were parked sideways taking up multiple spaces, had put up awnings and windbreaks and were lighting fire pits! Locals were arriving to enjoy the lake and walk their dogs and were struggling to park. If you want to set up a full camp go to a campsite because local people are rightly fed up with motorhomes clogging up their area. Be respectful.

Beautiful spot, stay here regularly on our way down to Cornwall. Other campers tend to be respectful, I.e. no outside furniture or rubbish left behind.

Nice place to stay, quiet too, keep it tidy and take litter home and I'm sure it will be there for years to come, arrived at 6pm and was quite busy-understandably, walked some of the footpath around the lake, stunning

A welcome change from 'No overnight camping' and being a little sneaky. Pulled up at approx 2230 to car park full of friendly faces and vans, one BBQ on the go and was helped to find a level spot. Views lovely, would recommend.

Very peaceful spot, pulled up for breakfast with a beautiful view of the lake.

This is a really lovely spot. We stayed the night last night without any hassle whatsoever. We were jointed 4 other campers of all sizes and there was plenty of room. One word of warning online is says you can enjoy a leisurely circular walk around the shoreline of the lake. They say 8.7miles. It was easily 10 and certainly not leisurely. It was very boggy in many places, rocky in others with lots of tall grass. We were glad to get back to the motorhome.

Quite open so when its windy you know about it

  • 5/5

It may be raining but it’s still pretty lovely spot. Fairly busy. We are 1 of 6 campers here

Parked here for two nights with absolutely no hassle. Plenty of space. Very quiet and decent 4G (EE), although someone else who was on Network 3 found it a little patchy at best. Paid public toilets at the most northerly of the three car parks. By far the best option out of the three spots as the other two both say no overnighting. Will definately return in the warmer weather.

Ideal spot if you're visiting bodmin/stop over. Overlooking the idyllic Colliford lake. We stayed two nights and the first night we were joined by another camper and the second night we had the place to ourselves. The car park up the road was having work done to the toilet block so that was closed but this spot is far better anyway.

All three pull ins around lake good. This one best. Not smaller Lake Dozmary is famed for lady of the lake/Excalibur/King Arthur. You can swim in both lakes.

Sehr schöner Platz, vor allem im Juni sehr ruhig. Direkt am See.
