It’s a restaurant, not a pub. Within earshot of the motorway and the mainline railway, but we didn’t find the distant sound disturbing. We parked round the back, not across the road which would be noisier. Very welcoming staff. We had a great meal.
Fabulous stopover. Lovely quiet car park under the trees. Great evening meal and friendly staff and locals. Allows motorhomes etc if you book a meal. Will definitely consider this when travelling this way again.
5 Sterne für das Essen. Die Stellfläche ist auch super. 2 Sterne für den Lärm durch die Autobahn und die Züge. Daher im Schnitt 3 Sterne.
Fantastic pub. Lovely food, great atmosphere and staff brilliant. What else do you need. Book first.
The car park is not that big if you have 8m but doable. A clear sign says campervan overnight stays with restaurant bookings only. A pint and a bag of cheese and onion won't cut the mustard if you're not hungry or short of discretionary spending. I'm a bar snack person so I moved on through it looks a nice pub and village if you are inclined to dine.

Excellent stopover. Short drive from Junction 33 on M6. Level gravel carpark at back of pub. No facilities. Pub restaurant full but we were put into the private dining room to eat. Very posh with private garden too. Very friendly staff and good food.
Stopped here on our way back home from a drift championship, we have a van pulling a trailer with car on. Rocked up here at 10pm on a Sunday evening and they were an absolute delight! Very accommodating and happy for us to stay considering our size! Definitely will come back here again.
Great stop over for the night, just off the highway. Lovely views, restaurant and pub was perfect.
Booked in for food at the pub which was amazing! And just asked staff on arrival about staying in the car park, which they were more than happy about as we were having a meal. Peaceful spot no real outside noise. No complaints here!
What an amazing stop! The food is absolutely incredible, service is great, views from the garden are lovely. They squeezed me in when full so would ring ahead if coming again. Car park around the back is quiet and flat
Rocked up at 5.30pm on Saturday and restaurant was fully booked but staff could not have been more helpful or attentive. Parked up overnight in the side car park which is flat and ate an incredibly good meal in the wonderful garden. Highly recommended stopover for any M6 journeys north or south.
Nice quiet stop over just off junction 33. I had a cracking burger washed down with a couple of real ales. Relaxed in the beer garden with a very nice vista.
A little treasure just minutes from the motorway... great food, fantastic staff and owners. As said a little noise from the railway but not a big deal. Nice flat hard standing carpark.
I would strongly agree with previous comments. A great spot with magnificent food. Thank you to whoever added this stop over. To those who will stay in the future, you will not be disappointed.
One of the best pub meals I've ever had. 10/10 food and service lovely garden out the back. Be sure to call ahead to make a reservation and ask permission to stay. I can see it getting quite busy during summer.
Very pleasant flat area. Bit of noise from the motorway and railway. Great meal in the pub.
