Sehr großer, ruhiger Platz, problemloses einchecken, Sammelumkleide, Duschen und Toiletten sauber, ca. eine halbe Stunde zu Fuß in die Stadt/Castle. Kann man nur empfehlen!!!

Gut und sehr ruhig gelegener Stellplatz in Stadtnähe. Perfekt für einen Besuch des Schlosses oder in den Gärten. Sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen im Clubhaus wo es auch ein Pub gibt. Dort kann auch bezahlt werden Schöne Radtouren zur Küste

if you haven't booked don't bother!!! we arrived mid afternoon, Saturday, parked up and went into clubhouse to pay as per instructions! no room, all pitches booked, and the staff were abrupt and unhelpful, we asked if there was anywhere else we just got told... "we are the only campsite here!" so I doubt we would try this again

Sehr großer Platz! Keine Anmeldung nötig... einfach in der Rugby-Bar per Karte oder bar bezahlen. Duschen sauber und sehr heiß, heute ist Training, finde es sehr interessant. Ent-/Versorgungstation vor Ort, der Kanaldeckel muss mittels zwei schwarzen Schlüsseln an der Station weggehoben werden. Dankeschön an den Verein für die Bereitstellung des Platzes!

Bello ed essenziale. Dormire ai bordi di un immenso prato verde (il campo da rugby) è stato molto piacevole. Essendo un enorme prato, ottimo il distanziamento tra i vari mezzi Docce pulite e calde. Da tornarci, Ottimo per visite al castello. Non c'è una vera registrazione. Non ci sono sbarre, quindi è possibile arrivare anche a tarda ora.

Great site for only £20 (with EHU). Stayed for two nights. Easy walk into Alnwick centre and to gardens/castle. Facilities were clean and site staff very friendly. Nice and quiet. Family friendly. Everything you need….

Eines von drei Spielfeldern steht fürs Campen voll zur Verfügung. Die Toiletten waren nicht sauber. Der Platz war sehr voll und bis spät Generatorenbrummen und laute Musik. Ich empfehle für einen Besuch in Alnwick lieber einen schönen Campingplatz an der Küste zu nutzen und einen Tagesausflug nach Alnwick zu machen. Das Treehouse auf dem Alnwickgelände unbedingt aufsuchen. Das ist wunderschön.

Sosta molto tranquilla, campo da rugby dove le bambine hanno potuto scorrazzare libere e anche piccolo parco giochi. Valore aggiunto, c’è il pub dove noi genitori abbiamo potuto rilassarci con una buona birra scozzese ! Carico scarico di acque nere e grigie! Ci abbiamo passato una notte dopo la visita ad Alnwick! Costo 15 pounds.

Een bijzondere ervaring! Ipv 20 plaatsen bleken er meer dan 70 kampeerders op dit terrein te overnachten. Niks geen registratie bij binnenkomst alleen 18 euro cashen! Enorm veel geluidsoverlast tot laat in de avond van meerdere Engelse kampeerders die niet rekening wilden houden met hun omgeving. Er werd niet positief gereageerd op aanspreken ook niet door de beheerders. Nooit meer naartoe dus!

Wir haben heute im Vereinsheim freundschaftlich gemeinsam mit anderen Campern das EM Endspiel der Frauen England gegen Deutschland angeschaut. Als gute Gäste haben wir den englischen Frauen den Sieg gegönnt. Wir haben tolle Menschen kennengelernt. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Der Stellplatz auf dem Spielfeld top. Sanitär top. Danke

Excellent spot. A brilliant idea that a rugby club allows you to park round their grounds off season. Shower block and toilets are open all night and there’s a water tap to fill up, there’s even a club house for a few pints to get some extra cash in their till. Brilliant idea, great place to explore the surrounding area from too. We’d definitely stay here again.

This was our third stop of our trip so far and was great, plenty of facilities (showers nice and warm) toilets clean, waste disposal, clean water etc & lots of spaces! The lady was great to deal with and it’s only £15 a night or £20 with electric which is very fairly priced! Aldi Mc Donald’s only 10 mins walk will stay again

Great little stop over for the night. Level gravel pitches with EHU on some. Black and grey waste disposal and plenty of bins. Fresh water fill up and there’s even a washing station with hot and cold taps just outside of the shower and toilets. Friendly and helpful people. Cannot complain for £20 with hookup. Will definitely return. The postcode is NE66 1BE the one listed takes you the wrong way.

Tolle Möglichkeit und nette Leute. Nach dem wir gefragt haben, ob wir die Möglichkeit zur Ver- und Entsorgung sowie die Duschen nutzen dürfen, waren wir herzlich dazu eingeladen. Das persönliche Nachfragen wurde sehr positiv aufgenommen. Eine Möglichkeit zur Spende ist vorhanden. Vielen Dank! Die Koordinaten passen nicht. Man muss um das Gelände rumfahren.

This is a brilliant stop & an inspired idea. perfect for visiting Alnwick and as an overnight stop on a long journey. Michelle was very friendly & welcoming, the hot showers & toilets in the club were brilliant, & just a short walk from Alnwick centre. As per the previous review about black waste, there are tools for lifting the manhole cover tucked into a metal holder on post (circled on photo!)

quiet peaceful night on hard packed gravel. No grass available due to heavy rain. All the ehu were used on gravel and couldn't reach the points on grass. £15 per night, £20with hookup. Lady said drinking water next to grey and black waste. Asked where black goes and she said it all goes down the manhole. Manhole was heavy cast and no way to lift it. I'd say no black empty available.

Arrived here on 8th March 2022 and contacted staff by phone but unfortunately the facilities don't open till April 2022 so we were politely asked to move on. Apparently it's an insurance issue with allowing campervans to park up during the Rugby season,which rather seems at odds with some previous comments. Never the less I could see the potential of this facility and hopefully it will continue.

Two nights on 30/09/21. Really good stop. Pitch up where you can and pay in the bar. Facilities very good - hot showers, clean toilets, bar. Easy 20 minute walk into Alnwick to visit castle/gardens/town centre. Great to see so many locals doing rugby training too!

Great site! £20 for the night with EHU and use of toilets and lovely hot showers. Michelle was very friendly and welcoming. Such a shame the weather was wild. Walked into town to see the castle but no dogs allowed. Some nice little cafes and shops. Location slightly wrong for satnav. What 3 words location. amazed.jump.elders

Ended staying here three nights as parking is a real problem around Alnwick. It was busy Fri and Sat and then very quiet on Sunday. Managed to sleep well most of the time. The campsite showers and toilets lacked soap (in the men’s) for the duration of our stay. The showers were nice, hot and relatively clean but there was dog poo around the empty and refill facility.

Good site. Good price. Clean toilets and showers. Friendly people. Limited electric hook up points but not a problem for us. Around 15 other campervans/motorhomes/caravans on site on our visit. We felt very safe and would definitely come back in future.

Good stopover stayed for weekend very friendly showers and toilets are very clean and allowed into club. 15 mins walk into Alnwick.

Very friendly and welcoming site. Clean toilet and shower. We rang in advanced and received a welcoming voice from the other end to allow us to use the facilities without staying overnight! We will surely return next time for overnights...

Didn't book but found a space at 5pm. £15 one person in a T4. No ehu, very hot showers, washing up, water and elsan disposal. Rather strange but interesting being round the rugby pitch with the youngsters training.

Das Problem an Alnwick ist eine mangelnde Campsite in Ortsnähe. Ist hiermit gelöst worden! Auf dem Rugby-Trainigsfeldern wird (ab jetzt?) gecampt. Mit oder ohne Strom, für 10 bzw. 15 Pfund. Es gibt Wasser- und Abwassermöglichkeiten, auch für Camping-Toiletten. Die WCs vom Rugbyteam sind neu und sauber. Duschen aktuell wegen Covid-19 geschlossen. Sehr nette Rezeption. Insgesamt ruhig für die Größe - standen mit bestimmt 100 Vans, Motorhomes, Caravans und Zelten. Spätestens ab 22:00 Uhr war es still - und das am Bank Holiday Wochenende. Würde ich jederzeit wieder stehen.

Handy place to stop for the night. Basically it’s a couple of rugby pitches. Very busy but still enough space for all. Cheap and cheerful. £10 per night. Of course, singing and general screaming went on till very late.

Stayed for 2 nights, quiet and close to the beautiful town centre, will stay again there if we come back up here

Sitio perfecto , con la zona para caravanas al lado mismo del campo . La recepción es el bar del club. Cuando llegamos estaban haciendo entrenamientos y al acabar había bastante ambiente. Luego se quedó muy tranquilo. Tiene agua potable y para vaciado de aguas grises Las duchas y lavabo están abiertos toda la noche Cerca para visitar el castillo y el jardín

Area en el club de rugby de Alwinck con todos los servicios. Esta a 20 minutos andando del castillo de Alwinck.

Nice quiet site,not to busy, pretty level ,I have not used any of the amenities as yet I'll let you know I'm the morning, cheers
