lovely people, nice pub and very welcoming pub owners let us stay on their carpark, didn't charge us.
Madducks30/12/2023Perfect little quiet stop, just off the M6. 2 flat pitches. Great friendly landlord has his own van, so he is keen to share good places to visit. Public toilets across the road but still closed when we left.

Really handy overnight just off M6. Very friendly landlord and landlady make you feel welcome. No charge if you buy a drink or a meal at the pub. Meals tasty and reasonably priced, they also do breakfasts. Parking very level. Will definitely use again.

A lovely place! We were in 2 motorhomes, possibly could of squeezed in a third. We had a very warm welcome from the customers as well as the owners. The food was delicious, I had vegetarian lasagne, enjoyed every bit. A lovely quiet village to stop on the way up to Scotland.

You can park your van in the car park of the pub. Parking is free as long as you spend in the pub. There’s a small pitch up tent area and camping pods at the back. They have shower and toilet facilities and obviously a PUB! Which is very friendly, reasonably priced and serves delicious food!! I would ring ahead to check they have space and inform them of your arrival time.

Lovely little pub, super hosts, very friendly and welcoming. No food as Sharon was unwell so just a drink for me. Small car park but doesn’t get busy. Road is quite busy early on if you’re a light sleeper!

Small car park but hosts Mark and Sharon are lovely, i had a meal and a couple of drinks cost £11.25 and got hook up, there is a toilet and shower but also public toilet just over the road. a good stop off, they also offer an overnight laundry service if required.

Lovely, friendly pub. Carpark is very small, you'll need to back in if you're over 7.5m! Very convenient M6 stop off.

Nice local friendly pub, we phoned ahead to check still serving food our planned arrival time was later than food serving time but I was told that was fine, food was home cooked and absolutely lovely, there was no room for us in pub car park but barman said we could park in the free car park over the road, which we did, public toilets in car park opens day time only, bin in car park, our first over camper stopover, really lovely place to stop

Stayed overnight on way back to Scotland. Phoned in advance to book our space - would recommend this. Easy access couple of mins from M6. Friendly welcome, pub is small and quiet but full of character. Great food, good portions.
