Car park by the side of a pebbly beach. Cafe and 24 hour toilets. No overnight parking or cooking in van. Not the greatest reception; 3G. Lots of police patrols due to nuclear power station so no chance of ‘bending’ the rules. Didn’t see any larger style motorhome; signs stated no motorhomes so this may be why and Suffolk seem to be cracking down on this. My van is a VW camper.

We stayed there 19/2/22 lovely views good clean 24 hour toilets nice flat car park. Can’t remember the cost under £4

WATCH OUT. We received a fine. Motorhomes are banned in all Suffolk car parks even in the daytime (does not say this on the signs). Won't be using any car parks in this county.

Stopped here on 30th March, told by parking attendant that East Suffolk Council were banning campers and motorhomes from most car parks and that those we are not banned from you cannot cook in your van at.

Although it does say no overnight sleeping there are a couple of roadside parking places just before you get to the car parks.

Great location , lovely beach we only stayed for the day in our dayvan but we saw a few vans parked in the quieter lower car park that looked set for the night. We had our small kettle BBQ with us and used it no problems , just be mindful of the dry grass and sparks. Just one fault the toilets were fairly clean but no loo roll at all so take your own. we plan to revisit and camp overnight when we can like the previous posts says don't sleep in and get caught out and make sure purchase another day ticket for £1.20

Sign says no overnight stay. Beware.

Nice location in car park next to beach ,sizewell Tea cafe open 9-4 wed/sundays.Toilets where open 24hrs. we stayed 1night and next morning nice beach walks ,but be aware sign says no sleeping in vehicles ? but doesn't say no overnight parking. just make sure you get a ticket in morning £1.20 for 24hrs and be up before 7.30 then as we had a visit by parking enforcement lady (nice and polite) who said if we had been asleep we would have gotten a £80 fine.No height restrictions.
