Van needed to park side ways to park without blocking some one in. New house built over looking parking bay, didn’t stay, but others car camping did.

    Excellent spot and very quiet

Sitio hermoso y playa espectacular. Muy tranquilo, solo pasan algunos granjeros. Solo hay cobertura de Vodafone, las demás compañías no funcionan.

This is a good spot and a beautiful beach - I did feel a little uncomfortable how near the farmers home was and did feel a little bad as a few motorhomes there and he had to get through to get to gate. It wasn’t a real issue but I think the amount of motorhomes here felt a little too much.

9 mile single track road into a beautiful beach thats 5 miles walk over field from car park. car park was long enough for around 10 vehicles but had lots of cow & sheep shit

great little car oark, stunning vuews and so quiet. Short walk to an amazing beach. Only bins there but well worth it. Gorgeous drive to it, good passing places

Fantastic stay despite the wind and rain. Short walk to a beautiful beach. Highly recommend.

Nice spot, plenty of space and there were campers and cars - 5 minute walk to a very beautiful quiet beach. Seemed to be a drinking water tap and bins too.

Great place to park up for one or several nights, although no amenities near by, but quite a few waste bins. Very short walk to a lovely beach. Room for at least 4/5 vehicles. Quiet at night and lots of Red Deer appear in the field at dusk. Midges no different here to anywhere else and the road down isn’t an issue, with lots of passing places.

Wonerful spot. Stayed several nights in late August. Typically 3 Van's per night, it would be comfortable with twice as many. 5 mins walk to one beach, 15 mins to the other quieter one. We walked to the pub/restaurant at Badachero. First part on the road, then over the moors and past two locks. Wonderful walk, and great food and drinks. About a 2 hour walk each way.

Felt a long drive down a slow road but well worth it! Frequent passing places and they’re well marked so even in a large motorhome the single track thing really didn’t feel an issue. 2 other camper vans there and some cars with tents for beach, but didn’t feel “busy”. Evening swim from deserted beach, same again in the morning before breakfast! Magical.

Highly recommend, single track road no worse than any other in Scotland actually better as you could often see well ahead. Stayed a night with a family that went wild camping, very quite just the sheep. Stopped at Badachro Gin distillery on way out for tasting very nice.

Nightmare drive down single track road with few passing places so difficult when meeting other cars. Farmer woke us calling to sheep/dog at 5.30am. Avoid.

Lovely spot overlooking red point beach. Didn’t find the single road track any worse than elsewhere in Scotland. Midges went when theres wind so they came and went

Hellish single track drive. Sheep poo everywhere. Got eaten by midgies.

  • 1/5

Nightmare one-track road, avoid at all costs. Midges, midges, midges

Think very carefully before heading down an 8 mile single track dead end road in a motorhome .maybe head down early morning to avoid disappointment and another torturous 8 mile drive

What a wonderful place to stay for the night and there is within walking distance a super beach to visit. I have added an image of a sunset and if you look into the distance the Isle of Skye can be seen.

Un lugar MARAVILLOSO! Tranquilo, con una playa enorme a 3 minutos y con inició de una ruta. Tened en cuenta que los últimos 10km son carril único con passing places.
