Es ist direkt an der Strasse mit tagsüber viel Verkehr. Der Blick auf den Hafen ist sehr schön. Mülleimer vorhanden. Wir mussten gegen 3 Uhr nachts fliehen weil sehr heftiger Sturm am Van rüttelte....Der Abgrund war uns zu nah .. .

auntycabba14/08/2023Car camped here on 11 & 12 August. Not a lot of traffic at night. Felt very safe here with 4 or 5 other camper vans and motorhome. Has an excellent view of the ferry leaving and entering Uig bay. Also a fab sunset photo op. Had a great night sleep both nights. Bins available and there are toilets available a little over a mile down the hill near the short stay ferry terminal car park.

blueskye09/08/2023Don't really recommend. Tractors, lorries and boy racers going past at speed in the evening. Cars beeping their horn as they drive past. Fine as a last reserve.

Nos ha encantado el sitio. Es tranquilo por las noche aunque por la mañana hay algo de tráfico. A nosotros no nos molestó. Había mosquitos por la noche, lo normal en Highlands. Volvería a repetir.

Absoluter Geheimtipp. 30 Minuten fußläufig bis zum Fairy Glen. Danach einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang mit ruhiger Nacht erlebt. Mit 7,5m langem Wohnmobil hatten wir trotz vier weiteren Vans genügend Platz.

Toller Platz für 1 Übernachtung auf der Durchreise. Platz für ca. 4 Wohnmobile und Mülltonne sind auch vorhanden. Zudem ein unglaublicher Ausblick auf Idrigil und seine Küste mit dem Fährhafen. Allerdings ist diese Abends eher weniger befahren. Würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Great spot to stop and get your head down after getting off the late ferry like me or if you’re catching the early ferry as it’s literally five minutes from the terminal. Great view, WiFi, bins and only downside is that it’s right next to the road. That being said I parked at 11pm and after the ferry traffic went past there was no noise and I got a great sleep.
Grahame24/08/2022A really lovely spot overlooking Uig, with spectacular views and a great sunset too!Although the road was quite busy when we first parked up it became very quiet from about 9pm, and we had a peaceful night's sleep along with three other motorhomes.
datgibbon05/11/2021Awesome view in the morning. As others have said the roads pretty much dead after 11pm, slept perfectly. Very good phone signal which is hard to come by in the north of the island, and a local shop approximately 2mins drive down the road for essentials.

Great location overlooking the Uig bay. Parking can get a bit busy, but post 11pm is quiet. Great parking for 4 motor homes

Petit parking le long de la route. Peu d'endroit où dormir à proximité d'Uig, à très bien fait l'affaire pour une nuit. Magnifique coucher de soleil
