Really nice stop, stayed here for two nights amazing view and had no issues. Not suitable for large vehicles though due to the lay-by being rather small.

A few of the locals said that I was able to stay here even though it says no overnight parking which was music to my ears as it was a great location and amazing views! Stayed here for 2 nights

Lovely spot to stop with a bag of chips, we planned on staying here however moved around 2AM due to lots of very loud and fast traffic, did not feel very safe :(. Also worth noting that the lay-by is not very wide, so you won’t fit in anything bigger than a transit without hanging over the side!

This place is legit . I stayed one night and probably wouldn’t do Two nights purely because it is just a lay-by next to a road that is moderately busy ( I was there saterday night ) it gets quiet after around 10 pm though . The view is amazing and it’s close to the beach if you wish to go surf the next day ??

Great place & views - beware of locals who will abuse you and vandalise your van. The local women who runs dog walking is particularly nasty. I was assaulted by her. Very nasty piece of work. They want your money but not you. That’s the general attitude around the whole of Devon and Kern-no. Nice place Shane about the moronic locals.

Lovely views and a free spot! Very quiet and can fit around 3/4 vans in. The road does get busy and your van will shake at various points of the night. There are two lay-bys for you to park in if one is full, keep going down the road for a minute.
Billystevens30/08/20215 stars because it’s free and the views are amazing , we sat watching the dolphins from here last summer , can be noisey and a bit dangerous as it’s on a busy / fast road . If your going to stay here please don’t be emptying toilets or weeing outside it’s stunk of wee when we got here tonight as someone has emptied their toilet here , ruins it for everyone else
drewbg16/06/2021Stayed one night; views are great but the traffic noise is terrible. Cars sounding horns as they go past in the night. We would stop again for a break and a meal but wouldn’t stay the night again. Only got about 5hrs sleep as the traffic started getting busy again around 5am

Gorgeous views! Stayed 2 nights without any problems - slightly hectic to get in as the road is busy and spots tend to be busy during the day

Great little spot, spent 1 night here in a camper van. There are a few parking bays that say No overnight camping but also 2 that don’t. We stayed in one with no signs. Traffic was busy in the morning but great spot for an overnight sleep and view of the beach.

Narrow lay-by directly next to the main road. Upper lay-by is flatter than the lower. Regular fast (60mph ) moving traffic dirctly next to you, zero foot traffic. View is great if you can tolerate the traffic. Stayed one night without an issue.
Benedict2203/09/2019Great little spot to stay for the evening. Amazing views when you wake up as right on the cliff edge. You are on the road so will hear cars go past but small price to pay for a great view

Stayed here with no issues at all. turned up around midnight and was lucky to have a space. try not to take the p**s and stay for any longer then 1 night at a time, this will lead to spoiling it for others when they crack down on it. especially locals who want to stop and check the surf in the morning
