Une ancienne aire de repos des mines donne des vues superbes sur la vallée de Newlands, vous pourriez être réveillé par les pêcheurs.

An old layby from the mines gives a wonderful outlook over the newlands valley, you might get woken up by the groups going down the nearby gill.

Ein altes Bergbaugebiet bietet einen herrlichen Blick über das Newlands Valley, möglicherweise werden Sie von den Fischern geweckt.

great spot to sleep. a lot of toilet papers and trash in the bushes but otherwise was ok

love it here. beautiful views with sheep. only downside is people pulling up early to go walking and being loud. other campers are considerate though. as level as can be. grass and hard standing.

No issues, beautiful 360 views of the lake district in all its glory. make sure you have a cassette toilet

This shouldn’t be advertised anywhere as a suitable place for campervans as it is illegal to stay overnight and police patrol regularly. Legally camping in a campervan or motorhome The only legal places to park are on formal camp sites. No one has a right to simply ‘pitch up’ for a night or two as all land in England is owned by someone such as a farmer, private landowner, public body or charitable organisation and you need their permission to use their land. There are lots of great campsites across the Lake District, ranging from basic and wild feeling sites, through to glamping sites and ones with great facilities.

A bit lumpy and on a slight incline

Potentially great spot, fairly quiet and with lovely views. Just a shame the surrounding bushes are strewn with used toilet paper. It beggars belief people can desecrate the great outdoors they've supposedly come to enjoy. These ignorant people have turned what could have been a beautiful overnight camp into a public latrine.
