Large open area used by visitors to nearby woodland, formerly army training area. Do not be deterred by "No Parking" sign at entrance as this only relates to keeping access free to gate to enter woodland. Off B3015, 400m south of A30.

Perfect for an overnight stop on a long journey. Slept well, you will find road noise but it’s next to a busy A-road so nothing we didn’t expect. The holes in the parking area are large but is very flat. Good morning dog walk.

Kleiner Waldparkarkplatz.

My first time going stealth in my camper van, saw, used park4night for the first time and came to this highly reviewed night stop. Arrived at 21.30 and was incredibly peaceful, some news from road but no more than if you lived in a busy town, lots of huuuge potholes.. We arrived in a rain storm so potholes were like small swimming pools. Muddy under foot but really great stay.. No hassle, no other vehicles and a great place to start your stealth journey !!!

We loved it. little bit of road noise but didn’t notice when doors shut. Few cars in and out and dog walkers / cyclists in the morning. friendly and felt very safe. MOD area in the woods, was nice to walk round early in morning. No bin so take rubbish with you. Rare to find this kind of spot so close to major airport and motorway. Power line nearby overhead didn’t hear it at all. Would stay again

For a free and discrete spot this is very good. No height restrictions just keep the gate to the forest clear. Plenty of space and the locals don’t seem to object. I do t live too far away and know the area so I know crime rates are low and people are generally nice. The road is quite busy but will quite down later at night.

Great walks but close to roads with noise till 11 pm. Also several cars pulling in late and leaving their engines running, up till about midnight. Many dog walkers during the day. Lots of potholes and mud at the moment. Plenty of space though.

we arrived at 2300, no other vehicles. a couple of vans arrived at 0500, guys just parked up and slept. saw no one till around 0700 when dog walkers started to arrive. site clean but potholes and the overhead power lines hum but apart from that nice quiet site with nature.

Great spot, some traffic noise but I was undisturbed and felt safe here overnight. Make sure you follow the written instructions as the google maps link did not take me to the right place.

People seem to be continuously abusing this parkup. If you're here in a van please park considerately - not sideways taking up more space than necessary, not with camping chairs and tables out. We live full time in our van in the area and keep losing parkups due to selfish camping behaviour - please be curtious to locals. This is a nice spot (albeit noisy and busy) and we don't want to lose it.

The spot is OK but just be aware it's right under a big electricity powerline

This large car park belongs to the Mod. The car park you are allowed to park in is at the other end of the Maultway and is a lot smaller

I spent a Friday night on my way to London. The road was quiet at night and I was not disturbed at all. I just found 2-3 cars parked in the morning (dog walkers probably). Mind the potholes but I found a completely flat surface .

Busy dog walkers car park. Quite noisey by a main road. More pot holes than I have fingers and toes.

  • 3/5

Shaded area next to road. entrance not signposted

  • 4/5

Nice place to pull up for a while. Very busy with dog walkers but no hassle. No bin

  • 5/5

Road isn’t noisy at night well not enough for me to notice. Flat, free and good walks around. Here at the weekend no teenager or noise at night. Dog walkers from 9am. Nice spot.

As has been said. road noise, but nothing too bad at night really. we had a car of loud guys turn up at 5am friday night playing music for half an hr. which considering its vicinity to camberley and bagshot i wasnt too suprised at. they were harmless. apart from that absolutely fine for an overnighter. 2 other vans there when we were as well. walks through woodland behind and good for cycling.

  • 2/5

Quite noisy from road until quite late at night, easy to find, fine for a quick overnight rather than a longer stay.

  • 4/5

Not a bad place it is close to the road so like others have said there is a bit of traffic noise we stayed one night and it did not stop us sleeping . there was two other Van's there over night when we stopped . At 7am and noticed a police car pull in have a check and leave they did not bother anyone tho . a few dog walkers and general walkers about early ok place for a night stop of I would not stay more than one night tho
