Very secluded, shelter by the rock, and super quiet at night. Just be careful the road is a dead end and we had lots of heavy rainfall, so roads were flooding a bit and might cause problems getting in/out!

Small parking area in the shape of a small roundabout. Great view of the Glen with the sheep that came back for the night. No passage. Warning: no network !!
Kleiner Parkplatz in Form eines kleinen Kreisverkehrs. Herrlicher Blick auf den Glen in Gesellschaft der Schafe, die für die Nacht zurückgekehrt sind. Überholverbot. Achtung: kein Netzwerk!!

Gladyswyer26/09/2023Quiet place for 3 vans on a Monday in late Sept. Ideal for Corrie Fee the next day at the pay and display, £3 all day and fantastic to support the visitor Center. This was a highlight walk. On approach sat Nav takes you on southern road which is so twisty, take the northern approach.
Fellhound10/09/2023Handy spot, stayed one night while walking the surrounding hills the days either side. Saved driving in and out. No issues at all. Used the pay and display car park each day, so paid our way!

Au bout de la route, attention, single trac, petit parking. Nous étions 3. Belle petite rando à faire en suivant la rivière.

Exactement ce que nous aimons : un endroit qui ne gêne personne, en retrait d'une route non passante, vue sur la belle nature. Nuit parfaite et bêlements des moutons au réveil ! Endroit à respecter sans aucune trace de son passage.

Amazing park up. Beautiful views, very peaceful. Just the odd logging lorry or local traffic. No phone reception. Toilets just down the way the picnic area (pay and display there)

Great spot tucked away on the dead end road, no facilities but toilets available at Glen Doll ranger station just along the road. Absolutely no phone or data service here.
marinebaron17/08/2019Superbe endroit pour dormir, entouré de montagnes et moutons. Au bord de la route mais plus aucun passage à partir de la fin d'après midi. Feu de camp possible.

Beaucoup de midges, mais c'est la saison ! vue magnifique, coin à feu. 2 nuits superbes sur place, malgré les piqûres.
