Great for over night before a flight from Leeds Bradford. Next to road but not busy. Aeroplane noise from about 6.30 but was leaving then any way. Next to woods. Nice listening to the owls hooting in the night

This is one of the car parks for Otley Chevin so will be full of walkers cars on weekends. I live nearby so have never stayed here but I would expect it to be fine overnight- there are no barriers or restriction signs so I think it would be ok for a stopover particularly midweek (you may find on a weekend you’re surrounded by cars). Otley chevin is great for walking with some fantastic views of Wharfedale. Otley is about 15 minutes walk down the steep hill and has many pubs, shops, restaurants etc. Across the road and up a track leads to ‘surprise view’ which is a nice viewpoint. There is also a pub, the Royalty there. It’s About 15 minutes from the car park (need walking boots !). Access is easy and there are two large gravel car parks set back from the road which should be quiet at night.
