Lagos, Estrada de São Roque

Ok watch out there is a little guy in a old white metro car hanging out here. I caught him doing something to my van at 10:30 at night. I jumped out of the van and he ran away. I then moved, only realising when i parked up that my water tank cap was missing, i’m pretty sure that he was trying to steal my diesel?

Es un solar al lado de la playa que se está utilizando como aparcamiento. Tranquilo para hacer noche y visitar Lagos y se agradece que haya más ac haciendo noche.

Tranquille jours et nuits plage magnifique à deux cents mètres

Good place and location but we had the creepy man watching us and tried to scare him off and he left but he came back again and he walked away when we saw him but we felt so uncomfortable that we left the spot didnt see his car but he was wearing white trousers be wary!!

Caught the white Citroen on the way in looking into blue pop roof van. Gave him a fright and he pretended to be doing something else. Head lighted him front on and tried to get him to pull over when he got back to his car but he avoided. If I see again I'll get a photo of him and his reg plate, the little rat, definitely a pervert!!!

Je viens d’y passer deux nuits calmes sans aucun problème. Il y avait 6 campings cars.

La place tout au fond où on pouvait se placer entre les deux restaurants a été barricadé. L'acces n'est plus possible.

Bel endroit près de la mer un peu chaotique pour marquer pas loin de la ville sans services pour ceux ci aller à la station bp a 3 km vidange et plein d eau pour 2€

Stayed a few times overnight. Mix of motorhomes and "van lifers" unfortunately the latter let their dogs run around, pee in public (the people not the dogs) etc which isn't great for keeping this spot available for all. Very nice to be by the beach and easy access to Lagos. Bins available. Don't park on the deeper sanded areas as saw someone had to be pulled out.

We stayed on this flat and sandy park up for 1 night while visiting Lagos. About 20 campers total and no problems with the Police.

Nice place to stay. We arrive at 5pm at night and left by 9am in the morning so didn't see any police

Endroit bien, nous y avons passé une nuit mais le lendemain nous sommes allés nous balader et quand nous sommes revenus, on est venu nous dire que la police était venu prendre des photos de tous les camping-cars et les fourgons. Attention à vous.

Camper scheinen hier geduldet zu sein, aktuell stehen auf den beiden Plätzen jeweils um die 15 Fahrzeuge. Nachts ruhig. Leider finden sich auch hier in den Dünen viele Feuchttücher und Klopapier, gerade auf sandigem Boden wird hier nichts verrotten, dann muss die Stadt säubern und irgendwann wird der Platz geschlossen. Bitte hinterlasst den Platz sauber!

Rustikaler Platz zwischen Abbruchhäusern direkt hinter der Düne zum langen Strand. Wir haben hier unsere ruhigste Nacht an der gesamten Atlantikküste verbracht!!!!

Mehrere Plätze entlang der Straße, über die Dünen ist man schnell am Meer. im Restaurante São Roque kann man die Toiletten benutzen (die Duschen funktionieren momentan leider nicht, sonst wäre hier auch ein warme Dusche) leider liegt relativ viel Müll herum. Und viele nutzen die Dünen als Toiletten. ruhig zum schlafen

This is a sandy fairly flat parking area in the dunes just before the 5km long beach. About 15 motorhomes would probably fit here depending on the parking. There are NO dedicated parking spaces for motorhomes and there is even a sign on the road-in prohibiting motorhomes. There are some derelict buildings here that have rubbish dumped in them but checkout the German street artist Tona's 3 pieces. They look authentic with his signature. There are no services here. The full services (€2 for fresh water only. Token at stadium) are 5 minutes up the road across the bridge at the stadium which is also payed (€3 for 24hrs) parking. The center of town is 20 minutes walk away over the pedestrian bridge. You may be lucky enough to see this bridge open letting boats out to sea. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the town but most have tourist prices and are quite expensive for Portugal. Go a little outside the center for better prices. We were shopping at Intermarche and we each got baguettes with soup, coffee and cakes for only €3.50 each. The beach is 5km from breakwater to breakwater. It's easy walkable as the sand is compact close to the surf. Took us less than 2 hours to do the 10km. We spent 1 quite night here, had a look around the town the next morning and moved off in the afternoon. Unfortunately we did see a motorhome dump his grey water where he was parked. This is a perfect place if you are a beach lover. Pros: Free parking. Practically on the beach. Very quiet. Restaurant close-by. Cons: No beach showers. Sand gets everywhere. No shade. Bugs/Mosquitoes. (They love us..) I got a mosquito bite while walking on the beach, but that was it. We finished the walk about 6.15pm and stayed in the van till morning. This was a muggy late October evening with temps of 23 degrees during the day.

Accessible à tous les gabarits, parking super, plage en accès direct et petite paillote sur place. seul bémol pas de services. Je recommande.

Schöne Stadt und schöner Platz Nahe am Wasser. Allerdings leider sehr durch die Camper verschmutzt, da keine öffentlichen Toiletten vorhanden sind.

Bon emplacement, autorisé pour la nuit. A 10 mn à pied du centre ville, il y a un restaurant juste à côté qui ouvre à 9h le matin

Waren 2 Nächte(nicht am Stück) hier. In der zweiten Nacht war es etwas lauter, da wir in der Woche hier waren. Keine Probleme mit der Polizei, direkter Platz am Strand. Stadtzentrum Lagos ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Hier waren jedes Mal mehrere Camper, ohne Probleme. Nur zu empfehlen. Leider kein Service, WCs der Strandbar von 10-22:00 geöffnet

Endroit calme et bien situé. Au moins, c’est propre comparé à d’autres endroits. Attention à ne pas se faire avoir car nous avons finies ensablées. Pour y accéder passer entre les deux bâtiments abandonnés. Accès facile à la plage. Par contre le matin beaucoup de voitures viennent se garer pour aller à la plage et vous laissent à peine la place pour manœuvrer.

Second time staying here ...quiet and handy to visit the beach and the town ...can be dusty when the wind gets up but parking for motorhomes close to Lagos is limited so overall this is one of the better spots.

We spent two nights along side plenty of campers without any problems. Neighbour told us the police usually tolerates campers but sometimes asks them to leave. Deep sand in some spots so be careful!

Très proche de la plage, je recommande. Des jeunes se sont arrêtés 15 mn musique à fond avec leur 4*4 puis on continué mort de rire. Ça a l’air d’être un peu le sport national au Portugal, cela nous est arrivé 5 ou 6 fois en un peu plus de 15 jours.

Está bastante bien, junto a la playa. Hemos pasado una noche aquí con varias campers y autocaravanas alrededor. Muy tranquilo y la playa está muy bien. Además, está la cafetería al lado para baños, aunque esta mañana a las 9 no estaba abierta aún y nos hemos ido a los baños de la estación de tren a 5 min en vehículo.

Muy mal para lagos señales de prohibición para ac por todos lados habiendo sitio bastante para todos

Al lado de la playa y a 10 minutos del pueblo Es tranquilo y no está saturado de gente ) autocaravanas Hay que tener cuidado con no meterse en la arena Estamos bien

Idéal pour accéder à la plage mais aucun charme. La plage n'est pas très belle et le parking fait vraiment lieu désaffecté. Nous ne sommes pas restés.

Bastante poco agradable. Zona de aparcamiento en tierra, con mucho polvo cada vez que pasa un coche, sin vistas de ningún tipo a pesar de estar junto a la playa. Ni siquiera es una de la zonas más agradables de baño. Fuimos, los vimos y nos fuimos.
