Gerader Platz direkt an der Straße demnach hört man diese auch in der Nacht. Wir standen hier sehr gut für eine Nacht mit 2 weiteren Campern.

Stayed here for a night, lovely spot close to river, some traffic noise in the morning but didn’t bother us, walked following public footpath wow what a walk! Just cut across from the pond and up the field to pub is quickest way! Stopped for coffee outside with dogs lovely pub serving wonderful food, would stop again.

great place to park up. off the main road. next to a river. plenty of space for 6-7 campers. few cars going past at night. You feel nicely out the way. overall great place and felt safe.

Nice stopover spot, arrived at dusk and left at dawn so didn't see much of the surrounding area but was nice having the stream there. Occasional noise from passing cars but it didn't bother me.

Nice spot even for a big MoHo. Carefully does it driving under the willow trees if you are tall. Ignore the 6’6” signs. Load of space but don’t take the turning right from Chichester as it won’t work. Go past the turning to the garage and turn round would be my advice.

Pretty but really NOISY with cars zooming past from 6.45 and rocking the van. Trying to pretend it's the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. It's not the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, it's 1000 cars driving to work at 60mph listening to their radios on 1million decibels.

    lovely place.

Perfect spot under the willow trees, had to use Google Maps to find Sheepwash Lane because my Garmin gps didn't recognise it. No problem driving slowly under the trees, our MH is 3.25m high.

Really nice green place to park and stay the night, with a small path too the pub/cafe where they have food and drinks and a nice fire outside to sit by.

Nice spot for a stopover - choice of pubs within a few mins walk.

lovely peaceful stop over. only stayed for 1 night but was lovely and quite.

Lovely quiet spot. A few other vans also using. Felt really safe, not bothered at all.

Busy during day quiet overnight, nice settling and 4G on EE. Careful of the low hanging willow trees!!

Limited space but very pretty spot. Nice and cool under the trees and by the river on a hot day. Poor Internet signal

Very quiet, some cars passed by. Had a great night's sleep.

Great spot quiet, pretty and feels safe. Perfect park over after exploring Kingly Vale.

Our first wild camping night and this spot was very quiet and seemed safe, 4 other vans turned up after us too. No problems at all

Morgens wirklich sehr laut aber in der Nacht war es unglaublich ruhig. Ein schöner Platz für eine Nacht…

Great spot for taking the bikes on the centurion way. Stream completely dried up. Quite busy with constant traffic.

nice quiet spot in the layby only, not down by the cricket pitch that's for car's to park rubbish bin are also at the cricket pitch. One pub is just at the top of the hill with and the other is just over the little bridge on the left past the church.Co-op petrol station is 5mins down the road ,and there's some great walks up to the South downs and Goodwood when parked on your left.

Had a lovely nights stay here, we were the only ones under the willow tree. Nice and quiet, no one taking pictures or knocking on our van at all. No toilets obviously but two lovely pubs about a 5 and 10 minute walk away, which were amazing. Definitely would recommend.

stayed Jan 2022 ,nice spot next to river, in a layby on one way road. warning sign saying 6ft 6inch max but I went down in citroen relay enterprise and others of similar size there also. 4 vans in total. very sharp turn in if you approach with the turn on your right, approach other way. quite a fast road, traffic heaviest 7am -7pm ish. quiet night. ee phone/ internet and tv reception.

Great sport. Try & avoid any concker trees the noise is scary. Quiet night & other campers there too. I was in my car so no issues. There is traffic noise during the day. The river is empty due to the summer. It is opposite the village green & there are lots of dog walkers. There isn't any street lighting, torch is a must. There are plenty of walks nearby. 2 local pubs a quaint little church.

We stayed one night arriving after 6pm. There were 3 or 4 other vans. Lay-by is used by cars too. A man walked by apparently taking photos of number plates. Not sure what his intention was and he did not return. Useful spot for an overnight stay and very quiet. Road gets noisy in the morning.

Just need to watch out for the low hanging willow trees, 3 other cans at the top last night but plenty of space and we left it tidy. Some road noise but not drastic and a good spot. Thanks

Nice spot a little traffic noise but to be expected.

  • 5/5

Parked in the lay-by under the willow trees, some cars passing but flat and good location. 2 other campers there for the night.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot in a quiet village. Tight turn to get into the road but undisturbed night, friendly locals and lots of bridleways for dog walks

  • 5/5

Super convenient for cycling into Chichester along the adjacent NCR88. Also head north 4miles to Weald and Downland museum. Room for 4/5mohos. The road carries traffic into this small village, but is pretty quiet after 10pm.

Good spot. Parallel parking along the road next to green or we found this parking bay furthe up the road before start of one way system. Traffic noise but great place to spend evening and night. Nice walks to relax before sleeping.
