Wunderschöner Stellplatz! Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Nacht war ruhig und es gehen von hier aus viele Wander- und Fahrradrouten. Ein ganz toller Übernachtungsplatz.

Large car park with lots of room. Popular with mountain bikers & walkers. Lovely walking trails into the forest plus also a 4 mile loop along viaducts & paths along the Richard Burton Trail. Peaceful night & felt safe. Completely free.

beautiful place. nice and quiet. loads of vans coming and going. we stayed a few nights from 9.11. plenty of spaces for dog walkers and bikers so didnt feel in the way. some of the bike routes and walking routes were closed or diverted bacuse of felling trees but sooo many walks here could stay for weeks. a few minutes up the road there's an elsan point, showers and toilets but paid parking.

Very quiet nice spot. Loads of other campers. Good phone signal. I would highly recommend!

Mooie rustige plaats om te wandelen en fietsen en heel rustige nacht. Heerlijk het geruis van de rivier.

As others describe, a great park up. Busy with dog walker/cyclists until about 7 and then from around 7 again in the morning. Other than that had the place to ourselves all night on a Friday. Only 10 mins from Aberavon beach too.

Friday night was quiet, a few cars from people using the sports field, early Saturday lots of cars for dog walkers and mountain bikers, look to be some good cycle routes, lots of circular walks, nice views and overall peaceful, a couple of small rubbish bins, picnic benchs

Lovely spot, plenty of nice walks and bike trails. Including Richard Burton birthplace walk. Felt a little exposed but it was a VERY stormy night! Level. Phone signal. No signs to ban overnight campervans. A few cars early morning with dog walkers, otherwise only noise was from river.

Great parking spot in South Wales. Surrounded by the foothills of Brecon with a beautiful river walk. Great for vans with solar too. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Paved and flat parking lot. Busy during the day with walkers, dogs and bikers, but very quiet at night. Just the sound of the river below. 4 bar 4G signal.

Great place to park up. lovely walks down along the river and through the forest. Arrived about 17:45pm was not too busy at all, few other campers turned up around 20:00pm. No issues through night at all, had a great quite sleep

Super Startplatz für die Trails im Afan Forest! Kein Wasser oder Toiletten. Sehr ruhig. Wir trafen viele Einheimische, niemand hat uns weggeschickt! Alle sehr freundlich. Platz ist zu empfehlen mit eigener Toilette und Müll mitnehmen!

A superbly quiet place overnight to stay. Plenty of space in the car park and very flat. Great walking and mountain biking trails directly from this location some of which would be very accessible to those with mobility issues. The car park does get busy early in the morning as the walkers etc arrive but nobody came through during the night

Great park up. Busy during the day with MTBers and walkers. Evening & overnight was very quiet after the local rugby pitch had finished. No parking restrictions mentioned on car park signage, but worth noting ‘no overnight camping’ is stated on the Afan Forest website.

Right by the nature trails and there’s lots of space. We were the only ones there from 7pm-7am, then it got very busy with all the mountain bikers turning up (it’s a very popular MTB trail). Would definitely stay again :)
