Great spot next to the water. Good phone signal and other than the farmer coming to tend to his sheep early morning we were completely undisturbed. There was a portaloo at the other end to where we stayed but we didn’t use it.
Beaucoup d'espace tout autour d'un lac d'eau douce juste derrière le rivage. Pas d'installations.
Plenty of space all around a freshwater lake right behind the shoreline. No facilities.
Viel Platz rund um einen Süßwassersee direkt hinter der Küste. Keine Einrichtungen.

Great place to stop, sheltered, very quiet & peaceful. Easy walk to the fantastic beach. Saturday morning 9.30 Park Run starts from here, which one of us did. Friendly locals.
Pierre07/07/2022Plusieurs emplacements. Cabine toilettes sèches. Aucun souci pour stationner sur l'herbe, le terrain étant bien stabilisé. Assurez quand même avant de poser les roues....
TjGibbons11/06/2022Beautiful spot! I would have stayed the night had it not been raining all week and the grass was quite soft. Beautiful views, lovely walking spot, pick nick benches, quiet. What more could you ask for!

Petit parking sur l'herbe face au lac, très agréable, réveil très doux dès 7h le matin par les moutons et les vaches. Rendez-vous des randonneurs du coin tous les samedis matins à 9h30 pour un tour de 5 km. Les voitures ne restent pas longtemps.

Great place. Very quiet in November during the night but surprisingly busy in the morning with really friendly local people. There is a Portaloo which was spotlessly clean. Local farmers were busy in the morning in their tractors so please avoid parking too near to their field access.

Beautiful spot off the track. Very quiet no road traffic. Popular with walkers as its part of Erris 5km Park Run. Shallow lake used by kite surfers on the day we were leaving. Good phone coverage.. Portaloos at each end of the lane and picnic table were we parked up. Lovely walk through the sand dunes, follow path at end of lane. Would stay again no problem

nessaballard19/08/2021Extraordinarily quiet and peaceful. And the weather here seems to be better than anywhere else. Just the occasional Walker as the road is a dead end. The fresh water Lough is very shallow, not worth swimming in. Locals very welcoming (but incomprehensible!)

Excellent place walk around from the first bench to the end of the road through the gate and across the field to the beach when the tide is out it is spectacular
