Auf Empfehlung eines Patres übernachteten wir hier, den wir vom Ort zum Kloster mitnahmen. Wunderbare Aussicht, ruhig.
Parking gratuit du monastère de Nicula, accès pas facile pour camping-car de 8 metres, pour information, les bus touristiques viennent jusqu'aux parkings, pas d'interdiction pour y rester la nuit, nous avons passé une nuit paisible, seul sur le parking de ce lieu de recueillement
Free parking of the monastery of Nicula, not easy access for motorhome of 8 meters, for information, tourist buses come to the car parks, no ban to stay at night, we spent a peaceful night alone on the parking of this place of meditation.

NellekedeR23/05/2023Heerlijke ruimte en rust. Fijn om hier rond te kijken. In de oude kloostergebouwen proef je de sfeer van vroeger. Het nieuwe is nogal pompeus. Mooi uitzicht over de bergen. Hele schone toiletten. Aanbevolen.

Super parking en gravier, hauteur avec vue sur la vallée. Nous y étions début octobre. Quelques personnes la journée mais vide sinon. Personne la nuit. Toilettes équipées et propres ouvertes toute la nuit. 3 robinet d'eau potables a l'extérieur. Lieu calme et reposant a côté du monastère. Route goudronnée pour accéder au parking, avec une bonne montée mais sans problème pour notre Renault Master.

Unfortunately the car drive up is extremely steep! My car nearly stalled. I've previously gone up 18% incline OK, so I guess this one is steeper. Yes my car is 30years old... The drive up the hill is really too steep for older cars :(
Linds15/08/2021On 14th and 15th of August there is a large pilgrimage and thousands of people come to the monastery. The road was blocked and it wasn't possible to drive up there. There were buses driving to the monastery so the road is good to drive.
lega403/08/2021Feels quite nice, even during the day parking is empty, huge free toilets available, of course the monastery itself. Water taps are available, but water is really bad, so not drink. Road is narrow and the first curve is quite steep, but not a big deal. Ring bells at 7am. A lot of people on Friday morning and probably on weekends.
