free parking and a place to empty a toilet. stayed there for one night with no issues. Tourist office very friendly and helpful. Food in the drift was awful. keep your money and spend it in the town. Lots of places to eat in the town.

Great spot, stayed 2 nights. we find Buncrana very friendly. Short walk to shore front or town. Glass and Can recycling. toilet emptying facility. Tap for cleaning toilet cassette at back of the toilet emptying.Fresh water taps are in the Aire. Autogas at Circle K and Maxol garages at Burt. hookups available. we felt longer vans should park on the grass side, shorter at fence. Otherwise tight

Stayed 2 nights - 12vans/motorhomes means it could be tricky parking if you are not used to tight turning. Bus service great - no official bus stop so just flag it down by the petrol station. 2 bus companies run by opposing brothers - don’t get a return and try to use it on the wrong bus. Definitely needs some provision for general waste - recycling great

Very handy for shops and services, but quite busy, as several vans here by early evening, and rather narrow site if you want to reverse into a space.Did not use EHU, but water and waste disposal welcome. Traffic noise mild. But a couple of irritating factors: recycling bins but little provision for disposal of general waste.

excellent location would stay again. spaces are rather tight especially if you get a > 6.5m plus bikes motor home parking in a facing space. a bit of road noise at night but calmed down after midnight, only to be expected in a busy town. Town is a good location with plenty of food outlets pubs and shopping. laundromat in garage across the road. staff in the tourist office extremely helpful.

Passés à cette aire pour vidanger les eaux noires. Partis plus loin pour dormir sur un parking de plage mais ce dernier ne nous convenait pas car beaucoup d’allers et retours de voiture restant moteur allumé et cela jusqu’à minuit. Sommes revenus à côté de l‘office de tourisme. Bien dormi.

Une aire de camping car gratuite et bien équipée en Irlande, c'est rarissime ! On a pu faire tous les services sans trop de difficulté... Pour l'eau propre, il faut quand même se faufiler entre les campings cars installés... On n'a pas eu envie d'y rester car les CC sont entassés et l'environnement nous a semblé trop bruyant... Mais un grand merci à cette petite ville pour son accueil.

un peu bruyant du à la route. manque la vidange des eaux grises. électricité fonctionne et l eau est gratuite.

Great spot. We did not end up staying the night, but stopped and made dinner here. Swapped books at the book exchange, emptied the Blackwater, the rinsing hose is on the back of the unit - easier to unscrew the pipe on the rhs to empty. Recycling bins across the lane.

All services off but you can at least empty black water without a rinse

Emptied black waste here today but rinse tap not working or any taps on site. So had to use own fresh water to rinse and make black waste point clean for next user. Why have such a clean and purpose built site if you’re going to turn the basics off without any warning or signage?

Great facility with room for several vans and motorhomes. Black waste emptying. Unfortunately water taps weren't working when we were there and no one was in tourist information office to ask. Others were plugged in so assume electric was working. We were able to use a water tap over the road at the petrol station. Near quite a noisy road but a good stop. Wild Ireland nearby - well worth a visit!

Used this today (Fri 25th Nov) to empty black waste and take on clean water. Free of charge!! Thanks to the local community for this. In return we shopped in Aldi and filled our van with fuel, both locally. There were 2 vans hooked up EHU when we stopped by.

This place is a gem. Easy access, beautiful park beside it with seating area. €5 electricity card purchased in the Centra across the road. The Drift Inn just a short walk but doesn't serve food during the week. Town centre just 10 minutes walk.

Lovely place for an overnight stay. Electric hook up if needed. 2 minute walk from the drift Inn bar and 5 mins from a large hotel with a restaurant and bar. Shop directly across the road with a deli and bathrooms

cet endroit est bien pratique...nous y revenons pour une deuxième nuit. centre ville à 10mn à pied...endroit plutot calme

Nous n'avons fait que les services, mais merci à la ville de nous offrir un endroit où on peut vider les eaux sales/remplir gratuitement en eau propre/faire sa lessive à la station service en face. Nous avons préféré dormir un peu plus loin dans la même ville au bord de la plage "Amazing Grace" puis près du "Swan Park". Un petit tour en ville pour faire marcher le commerce, et hop.

Free water, recycling and a revolution laundry over the road. Nice garden with picnic benches and grass for the dogs. Other than some road noise it’s a perfect spot to get the choirs done.

Nice free spot . road can be a bit noisy beautiful park walk next door . I would arrive early for a space as can be very busy with vans . not suitable for anything over 8m . locals are saying its about to be renovated. garage opposite has everything you may need including hot food washer and dryer outside to . pub 2 min away is most excellent

Pas de chance. Office du tourisme fermé. Pas de carte disponible à la station service pour avoir de l'électricité. Parking plein. Camping caristes bruyants jusqu'à minuit. Route très passante et très bruyante. Emplacements étroits. Dommage que les grands parkings déserts sur le front de mer nous soient interdits hors saison.

Parfait pour un coin gratuit. L’équipe de l’office du tourisme est très accueillante. Des restaurants et pubs à proximité. Nuit très calme et immense plage à moins de 10 minutes à pied.

We didn’t stay but used the spot to park and take a walk along the front and get shopping at Lidl. Very close to town. Fantastic to find an aire with free water and black waste emptying and luckily free electric as a Moho was leaving and still had current left so kindly told us and we charged up the battery whilst exploring. Would happily have stayed. Felt very safe and clean. TY to the community.

Excellent place to stay for a night or two. Noise from the road didn’t bother us. Clean, level pitches, water, toilet emptying and ehu at a small charge if you want it. Lovely pond and wildlife garden with picnic benches and bins. Nice walk down to the pier and sandy beach. All for free. Well done to the local council for providing an excellent facility.

Great free area. Does get very busy with campers during day and night, but shows more towns could do with services like this. EHU points limited so you might not be able to get one. Toilet dump and water refill and recycling and bins available. There is road noise but nothing too bad. 4G on 3

Great wee stop over only a 6 min walk into Buncrana very safe beside the Tourist Information centre. You will need the levelling ramps in some pitches

Toilette einfach entleert und Kassette gereinigt. Der Schlauch zur Reinigung der Kassette hängt am einzigen Wasseranschluss. Der Schlauch lässt sich aber leicht entfernen, sodass ein eigener Schlauch angeschlossen werden kann. Ob es sich tatsächlich um Trinkwasser handelt, lässt sich nicht erkennen. Aus hygienischen Gründen gibt es einen Stern Abzug. Danke an die Stadt für das Angebot.

A great stopover point, with free water, a great launderette facility at the garage opposite (which also had a toilet and a great selection of food supplies etc), as well as a great pub nearby, and the people/staff are so friendly.

Bona iniciativa del municipi. Els serveis són un xic complicats a activar però pel preu demanat, no nos podem queixar ! The Drift Inn, antiga estació del tren de Derry fins al 1957 al costat, avui és un pub amb un personal molt amable.

Buncrana is a stunning little gem of a town in Donegal. As others say all you need is there. No views though but you are a 5 minute walk from the beach. The Drift Inn next door is a fabulous traditional pub that also serves great food and often has live bands. There is a pay as you go washing machine opposite as well.

Great spot, town 5 mins away and ferry to Rathmullan. Water and grey water empty plus electricity 5euro, definitely No toilet emptying facility. Nearest toilet dump is Carndonagh which is 20 mins drive and free.

Free overnight parking, grey water dump and fresh water. Quiet overnight. Handy for the town. Shame there isn't a black water dump as we would happily have paid for that. Tourist office on site.

Great starting point for the inishowen 100'. Fuel, washing machines, toilets, cheap hookup, water, what else could ya need..well yeah, showers sure but considering everything else we'll let it slide!

Eau et stationnement gratuit, très rare dans les pays du nord.. en face d'une station essence avec lave et sèche-linge, 4 euros 8 kg 2 euros 15 mn sèche-linge, très pratique, rien à redire, merci à la ville

Stationnement gratuit autorisé 2 nuits. Wi-Fi difficile à capter. Borne électrique qui fonctionne avec des cartes de 10 unités (5 pounds) à acheter à la station service de l'autre côté de la rue. Faire un essai d'abord car il reste souvent des unités non utilisées par les camping-cars précédents. Places étroites.

Buen sitio para pernoctar, agua gratis, electricidad 5 euros, el parking es gratis junto à la información turística. El pass del wifi según un cartel en la puerta de la oficina es; funcrana1 pero no pone la Red que es y no he conseguido conectar. Un poco de ruido de la carretera. Por lo demás todo bien una gasolinera con tienda justo enfrente que se puede ir a pie. Saludos geocacheros.

Très prisé, c'est quasiment complet, du coup on est un peu trop les uns sur les autres, et seulement 3 branchements électriques. J'espère que les autres partiront assez tôt demain sinon il faudra attendre pour sortir parce que les emplacements sont un peu étroits. Sinon plus bas dans la ville il y a un parking en bordure d'eau où on peut passer la nuit (mais trop venteux aujourd'hui).

Très pratique le wifi pour l'avoir faut se coller à l'office du tourisme donc tan pis, les toilettes sont en ville un peu loin sinon j'aurai mis 5 étoiles
