Great quiet place. Residential parking with almost no overnight cars. The area only gets some activity after 11am. Located right next to a river and walking paths
En bas de la caserne des pompiers / grand parking juste sur la rivière 5-10 minutes à pied de la ville. Des poubelles mais pas de loos.
Down by the fire station / large car park right on the river 5-10 minute walk into town. Bins but no loos.
Unten bei der Feuerwache / großer Parkplatz direkt am Fluss 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt. Mülleimer, aber keine Lose.

GPAbz24/09/2023Quiet at night. Reasonably level car park. Good 4G signal. It’s close to the river for a walk (you can’t see the river from the car park), and not too far from town facilities. Note that it is in a residential area so it’s not completely ‘surrounded by nature’ itself. If you’re looking for something further from houses etc then King George V park nearby would be better.

Be respectful as this is near people’s houses. But it’s a calm and quiet stop near a lovely cafe (up the hill, called Ride). Enjoyed many peaceful nights here over the years :)
