Residents parking scheme now in place. No free parking and warden patrols
Zone résidentielle. Très proche du pont suspendu et à 30 minutes à pied du centre de Bristol. Clifton à seulement 5-10 minutes à pied. Toilettes dans le centre d'accueil des visiteurs à proximité, mais ouvertes uniquement pendant les heures ouvrables. Mise à jour 3/2022 - la zone est désormais autorisée uniquement ou disponible entre 21h et 9h. Voir l'image comme possibilité de payer et d'afficher
Residential area. Very close to suspension bridge and 30 min walk into central Bristol. Clifton only 5-10 mins walk. Toilets in nearby visitors centre but only open during business hours.

Spend the night there on a Saturday evening. Heard a few drunks passing by, besides that it was pretty quiet. Payed for a couple of hours and visited the bridge and the observatory the next morning. Fairly flat altought round the corner there is a street that seems better and with same paying conditions

Beautiful area BUT recently permit only restrictions have been put in place!! You can only park here 9pm-9am without risk of getting a fine. See image

parked here in Dec. lovely woods along side, perfect for walks and fog walks in the morning. no trouble , few other vans. about an hour's walk, across suspension bridge into Bristol city center
roannasmith13/12/2021Lovely quiet spot at this time of year, only us last night, no traffic until this morning, then the usual dog walkers. Bin by the gate, and an easy walk to the Bridge and into Clifton. 40 mins to Bristol waterfront. No phone signal so had to walk up to the main road to send a message, and tv signal was sketchy. Flat spaces, good for exploring the area. Leigh Woods are lovely for a good walk,
BobbyB9405/08/2021Spent a night here great nights sleep quite a lot of through traffic but I’m a deep sleeper so wasn’t an issue. It’s in a residential area so bare that in mind and be respectful! 10 minutes walk to the Clifton Suspension Bridge half an hour into the city. There’s plenty of spots. There is bins near the entrance to the National Trust woodlands off to the side make sure to use these to keep this spot for others. Great spot for access to the city and surrounding areas.
midgy02/08/2021Stayed the night, beautiful (45 min) walk into town over a lush bridge with amazing vewis of Bristol, lots of people although everyone seem nice enough wouldn't stay more than a night or two tho very close to houses and would advise you to really respect this spot as it's free, seems safe and very close to Bristol Town, no singal tho x

Excellent for dog owners and cyclists as right next to some great public woods. No phone signal when parked up. Busy road but nobody bothered us and another two vans parked next to us. Beautiful street of houses and a nice walk to the suspension bridge.

Great place, really quiet and no one else there parked, police knocked due to a separate incident and had no problem with us being there, nice little find!

Quietish road alongside Leigh wood, but no views of Avon gorge. 5 mins by bike to the bridge.

El sitio es una urbanización de casas de alto nivel adquisitivo. Mucho sitio para estacionar y pasar la noche. muy tranquilo. Ningún servicio. A 40 minutos de distancia del centro de Bristol andando a paso normal. Se atraviesa el puente colgante "The Clifton" con vistas espectaculares. Recomendamos subir a la "Cabot Tower" en el interior del parque "Brandon Hill", vista panorámica de la ciudad.
