Parking hermine street (martins green). Pas de barrière de hauteur, pas d'installations, parking dans les bois, avec des promenades en bois autour. Nous avons passé une nuit paisible, malgré le fait d'être à côté d'un camp de scouts.

Ermine street (martins green) car park. No height barrier, no facilities, car park in the woods, with woodland walks around it. Had a peaceful night, despite being next to a scout camp.

Parkplatz Ermine Street (Martins Green). Keine Höhenbarriere, keine Einrichtungen, Parken im Wald, mit Holzstegen drumherum. Wir verbrachten eine friedliche Nacht, obwohl wir neben einem Pfadfinderlager waren.

Good spot, flat ground albeit a bit muddy in parts. Spent one night here just to avoid spending on the congestion and ULEZ charges en-route to London. Nice and quiet after about 9pm (scout camp clearly had visitors)

AVOID in the winter, super boggy. I didn’t want to give a negative review as it looks lovely for the rest of the year !

  • 5/5

We were stood here for 1 night, not a lot of space for big campers. Only one nice spot for a vw grand California. Great for active people with dogs. You can go straight into the woods and walk for hours if you’d like. Apart from a few cars passing by during the evening, very quiet

Turned up about 9pm was abit dark. 2 other vans already set up for the night. Little road leading to a closed gate and found a spot. Becarefull of the stumps and roots from the trees. Other than we had a great night sleep

Great stopover. Quiet, lovely walks. Slightly sloping ground

Lovely parkup, stayed here overnight twice and it's quickly becoming a favourite spot. Btw the massive pothole at the entrance has been filled now :)

Had a great night stay. No issues! Hear cars on the roads but faintly. I arrived when it was dark, would suggest getting there earlier as others have suggested. I didn’t see the big space to park so went further down the track and pulled up on a bank. Had issues getting out the next day with wheels spinning in the mud. So if you go, stick to the spaces as you immediately turn into the car park!

great little spot, lots of nice walks, but not far away enough from the road for me

  • 5/5

Awesome spot! Watch out for huge pothole at entrance.

  • 5/5

Not easy to find a level parking space, but other than that a beautiful place to stay! Brilliant for walks in the forests and enjoying a bit of peace and quiet. Lots of dog walkers during the day, but no one seemed to bother, all really friendly. Had a quiet night’s sleep.

Absolutely perfect park up. peace, quiet, no doggers or racers. A great night. I hope messy people don't ruin it for everybody else, because it's clean and well taken care of. and FREE!

Great spot for a long morning walk in a natural place. The ground is uneven but with a bit of patient you can find the right place for your vehicle. The place seems to be also safe as there is a nursery school in front of the car park. We spent a very quiet night and woke up in an amazing place. MIND THE BIG HOLE IN THE ENTRANCE!

Wonderful place where we spent two quiet nights with three other campers. Far off the London Buzz, and a nice respite from the stress of exploring London. We spent our night here and then drove to Cockfosters one day and Buckfurst Hill the other day to ride into London by Underground. It took quite some time (30min drive 35min Underground) but was well worth the feeling of security and nature.

Gr8 spot in the forest & quite a large carpark

  • 5/5

big pot hole on way in please be careful very uneven other than that, beautiful spot with lovely people and lots of horse rider and dog walkers

  • 2/5

HUGE unavoidable pothole at entrance gate, only really 2/3 places for medium to large vans/moho’s to stay which were taken by cars when we arrived. Rest of carpark empty but so uneven I wouldn’t even want to park a car there. Wouldn’t recommend to be honest. However it’s right near paradise wildlife park which is a fab family day out!!

  • 5/5

Nice small carpark in the woods. There is a road nearby but it was mostly quiet during the night. We arrived just before dark on a Saturday to find 2 vans. Sunday morning brought dog walkers and horses. We were alone Sunday night and Monday morning. Noting the mud and uneven spots, so walk your parking spot to avoid surprises. Also, avoid the massive pothole in the entrance.

Near London, very quiet, not a dogger in site. Felt safe because it’s next to a scout campsite

Here right now, beautiful spot. No other campers as of yet on a Friday night in August. Great walk around the peaceful woods before having some dinner now. Sure we’ll have a very peaceful night!

  • 5/5

My 1st park for the night using the app great little place but big dip on entrance so be careful! loads of woodland/forest there was 3 campers here tonight

  • 5/5

Nice quiet spot on Cock lane, big dip at the entrance but easy enough to tackle if you go slow. Plenty of walking trails around with wildlife, horses and dogs

  • 5/5

One other camper with me here over night. Dog walkers in the evening, none in the morning. Not a single car pulled in until past 9am - it was so quiet! Would highly recommend.

  • 5/5

Great spot . met some very lovely people .

  • 5/5

Very quiet was the only van overnight. Last car left the car park at 7pm. Dog walkers and runners in the morning but everyone very friendly. Great walks and access to a nature reserve. Isn’t very flat, but the top is ok.

  • 4/5

Stayed here one night. Very peaceful and undisturbed. Quite a lot of rubbish. Lovely woodland walk though!

  • 3/5

Only a couple of level spots with solid enough surface. flytipping rubbish still not removed. some traffic even middle of the night which is surprising due to how narrow the road is. on the positive side is a lovely setting and had a great walk to wind down before sleep. quiet location only 45 min from central London so great for work.

  • 3/5

Sadly flytippers use this spot to dump trash. quiet over grown at the moment. not too many level areas. one poor man had to have his van towed out as he got stuck in the mud (careful where you park walk your parking spot before you drive on it) local youths showed up but kindly left when they noticed us. quite a busy place even in October. nice walks close by. spent the night no problems.

  • 4/5

Beautiful for a walk in the woods. We slept here in a van one night with no problems. Next to a road So gets a little noisy in the morning.

  • 4/5

  • 3/5

Good for a stop over. right next to a road. not to busy though. not very level.
