Park on the beach at Towyn there are no amenities but access 24 hrs a day.we stayed here last night there were about 5 other campers here. There is a height restriction of 2meters bigger vans parked just outside of the height restriction think there are about 5 species for the bigger vans but load of room on the beach.

there are actually toilets, about 100 m left of the bridge after the pantri shop.

i am local and i stay here every now and then i take all my rubbish and use my own toilet

  • 1/5

NO OVERNIGHTS ALLOWED. Signage is plentiful. Nice day park up and for free. Please let’s look after this. Llandulas just down road has cars n light vans only signs. Don’t let this happen here. Move on in the evening. Respect the locals maybe we get a break. Pebbles then sand to the water. Amazing views of the bay.

  • 1/5

Unfortunately there are now no overnight parking signs, such a shame as this was a lovely spot to stay

  • 3/5

Signs on entrance and inside parking area stating no overnight camping....

  • 4/5

Beach is brilliant. Surrounding area questionable and the toilets are locked at night. Can use the toilets at 'the yacht' pub though.

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night. Our van was too big to fit beneath the barrier so we just parked up at the side. Quite a few other campers here. Beautiful view to wake up to. Nice chippy just down the road. Public toilets and bins make this a fantastic place to stay!

  • 5/5

    brilliant overnight, all good

  • 3/5

we stayed here last night it was lovley. many motorhomes. the only problem was all the litter from cars pulling up and throwing it out. so me and my family spent 2 hours this morning cleaning the beach. cars giving motorhomers a bad name.

  • 5/5

Brilliant place to stay over supermarket ,pub, and takeaways within walking distance, love it ,please be respectful of the surrounding and keep it tidy plenty of bins up and down the seafront

  • 5/5

absolutely beautiful right on the beach beautiful sunset cafe arcades and pub nearby

  • 4/5

Amazing park up as you can sleep next to the sea however it is used for dogging and there are no bins, toilets and there is height restrictions too. Not overly busy

  • 4/5

Stayed in this spot on bank holiday weekend. Lots of room for vans if under 2.1m. Bigger vans park in the side road. Pulled into the carpark/stone beach, reversed the van up to the stone edge and you are overlooking the sea. Nice spot for the night and even better on a sunny morning with a cup of tea. There were some toilets about 100yrds away and one was open all night. Will definitely stay again

  • 3/5

I parked opposite beach huts/shops as I'm over 2m gravel car park no signs/restrictions bit close to the train line but was last minute

  • 4/5

Great level spot right next to the sea. Very windy but then it is November. Train noise no issue at all. Few cars passing in and out early part of the night. Barrier would stop anything higher then standard van getting into beach parking. Would stay again in summer months.

  • 5/5

Free. Stayed here one night on the beach, next to train track but still quiet enough for a good sleep. 2m height barrier in place at the entrance so bigger vans park just outside. Felt safe and lovely view.

  • 5/5

An amazing park up with a beautiful view to wake up to. It does have quite a few cars coming and going through the evening but it didn't bother us. nice and flat, place for larger vans just before the barrier. Hard to find in the dark have to navigate the side streets to find but a wonderful place to stay x Thank you for putting this on p4n xx

  • 4/5

Are first night in Stan the van . We’re over 2m so we parked up on the left before the barrier . There were 2 other vans stopped . We had a quiet night with great views of the beach in the morning . Only downside was the lack of toilets. There are public toilets a short walk away but they were locked.

  • 2/5

Really nice in the day just a few miles from home brilliant for kids . however its a renowned dogging area i wouldn't stay here

  • 5/5

2 m height restriction on entering beach area but we were OK in our vw T6. 1 other T5 spent the night so had the whole beach to ourselves. Peaceful night's sleep with fantastic sea views

  • 5/5

Lovely location for watching the sun set. Stop here for one night. Had a great sleep. Definitely worth a visit.

  • 5/5

Have been here twice in the last month gets quite busy in the day but it's not heaving with the amount of space, come night time it's very quite with the odd car pulling on and the train passing behind but very slow. absolutely stunning views if the weather is right, will always keep coming back here! I have a VWT5, managed to get under the barrier with normal suspension and 50mm lowered too?

  • 4/5

We couldn't pass the barrier, so we slept next to the road. The cars pass through all night so, it can be a bit noise, but it wasn't that bad. Nice views.

  • 1/5

OK if you like dogging and I don't mean our four legged friends

  • 4/5

Stayed here on 6th June, single female with dog. Arrived late and wasn’t sure I was in the right place. There were plenty of vehicles on the beach and a night fisherman, but I’m over 2 metres so parked up before the height barrier. Another camper pulled up in front of me around 11pm, so that reassured me it was ok. I was undisturbed but there was passing noise from vehicles going on and off the beach, and the train station which is next to the parking space. View was really good. Public toilets about 200m away but weren’t open. Wet wipes on the beach the next day so maybe had been some adult action going on but I didn’t notice it at the time. If you’re going there just go over the bridge and turn right and it’s just there. I would stay again.

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night, only issue was the public toilets nearby are out of order. Beautiful sunset.

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night. There were a 12 other vans on the beach and 4 parked outside the 2m height barrier. Lovely spot and quiet with a great sunset.

  • 4/5

Nice quite night. Only 1 other van on beach. great views of the sun set. Fitted under barrier in VW T5

  • 4/5

Cracking spot, first time here last night, think we may stay for a second. Nice and quiet plenty of space easy to park and some facilities not too far away. Nice view of the sea too.

  • 4/5

Spent a very comfortable Friday night ; a few other vehicles around and some sea-fishing going on … :)

  • 4/5

Not bad park up.height barrier seems silly idea, beach very long.police I saw twice come by while I was parked in road as I’m too tall for barrier.but left alone.

  • 5/5

We stayed here last night quiete nights sleep locals start turning up early to walk dogs Nice clean location toilets and shops close by

  • 5/5

Lovely pebble beach. downloaded a toilet finding app, turns out there is a toilet about 250m from where we parked just 100 m west of the bridge. It was a touch loud from the motorway noise, young boys and their cars, the trains etc...but we sleep with ear plugs always, so had a very nice sleep. Lovely plc to wake in the morn. Felt safe.

  • 4/5

Lovely spot on a large pebble beach. Great sunsets and view of Gwrych Castle. Low barrier, Elgrand, Transporter etc height but no higher. Free of charge and should you wish you could hop on a train as the Pensarn Station is along side.

  • 3/5

Free and as small camper could park on beach. 2 motorhomes before 2m restrictions. Some noise from trains.

  • 2/5

Lovely beach, but it is frequented by cars with music. Train line is literally about 30 yards away from where you park. You can squeeze in at 2.1m, over that IF you're lucky, theres about three spaces on the road down to tje beach, off the railway bridge. On a slope. Great place for the day but wouldn't sleep there.

  • 1/5

9m van. Parked by barrier. Traffic passing by non stop till midnight as the boy brigade use it for meets, music and dropping off McDonalds Rubbish. Not our cup of tea.

  • 5/5

Parked up tonight, peaceful once the sun goes down, barrier on entrance, can get under with a VW, a few spaces on the outside of the barrier for larger Vans, no amenities, shop close by

  • 5/5

Great spot, we camped last night, quiet carpark (on pebble beach), busy in daytime, but calmed down after sunset. We got under the barrier at around 2m in our van.

  • 4/5

Great if you can get under the barrier. I can and it's brilliant place. But I drive a standard Renault Tragic, low roof, about 2.1m high. I *just* get under the right side of the barrier.
