Do NOT take the single track road up from Bootle - what Google nav says is a road is not a road! couldn't get up in a small VW, had to reverse a mile and find somewhere else.

Crisnix12/08/2019Great spot. Should be listed as 'In nature'. This is a small car park at the top of the Fell road. Fits four vehicles if parked correctly. Parking is right next to the single track road. Beautiful views of the local hills, the western shores of the Lake District and the Isle of Man. No facilities. Quiet road at night. Some traffic in the morning. Very exposed.
