Views are incredible… has a bin. Slight noise from traffic but nothing crazy at night time. Lovely little stop off for free.
Layby A82, juste au bord du loch avec une vue magnifique. avons passé la nuit, la route est bruyante le jour mais calme la nuit.

adventureee06/03/2024Spotted this place on our way to the park up we intended to use in Tarbet. The parking lot in Tarbet was under construction so we turned around and came back here. Gorgeous view of Loch Lomond. Right beside the highway, so it is noisy, but nice place to park just for a night. Rubbish bin here also.

Hemos pasado muy mala noche, al lado de la carretera y con paso de vehiculos constante, no entiendo los comentarios, estas al lado lago pero tampoco muy buenas vistas. No lo recomendaria para nada

Don’t know what people expect for a FREE spot. It’s lovely, great views. We sat on the side of the loch on the “beach”, so serene as there was just us and another campervan. Really quiet on a nighttime, the trees block a lot of the noise. There’s a path that takes you on a nice walk, great for dogs and a bin too.

Great little stop for about 5 motorhomes. Walk up the bin and see a little path, takes u to a great spot to view the lake.

Thought we had 4 chances (4 times a lay by after each other), first one was already okay. No sign overnight parking isn’t allowed and a quiet night. Spent the evening and morning next to the water shore.

Nice lay-by. Very quiet, only one other camper used this when we stayed. Quiet road at night and not too bad in the day. Nice little snickle that leads to a big rock on the edge of the loch. Perfect for a picnic or a small campfire!
