stayed 1 night to avoid travelling in bad weather. rang to check available then arrived 1/2 hour later. val was very friendly and helpful. cost£22 £3 metered electric. beautiful clean site in a beautiful location. Will definitely visit again
Wonderfully peaceful night on the site overlooking the fields and hills. This is a C&MHC CL site, each pitch has a grey water drain, fresh water fill and EHU that’s metered, so you only pay for what your use, litter disposal, no other facilities. A 1st trial of a CL, but if they’re all as good as this one, I’ll be using the more often. Lovely lady managing the site. Nice pub close by.

Absolutely beautiful site on the outskirts of Appleby. Pitches are immaculate and owners so very helpful. Please note there are no showers and only 1 toilet, but still perfect! £22 a night - worth every penny in our opinion. BTW - local pub in Brampton is not open and doesn’t look likely to open at any time in the future.
Brilliant site. Owners very friendly. Elec/water/grey waste at each pitch. no showers but didn't bother us as we showered in motorhome.They do have a toiled. Plenty walks for dogs as well. Definitely be back.
