Le personnel amical, sans frais pour passer la nuit si vous mangez / buvez dans le pub. Pas d'installations en tant que telles mais accès aux toilettes du pub lorsqu'elles sont ouvertes. Il y a une bonne connexion Wi-Fi gratuite dans le pub. J'ai gardé le meilleur jusqu'à la fin ... la nourriture est vraiment à tomber par terre. Très bonne qualité, grandes portions et prix très raisonnable, certainement un bon rapport qualité / prix.
The Okeover Arms pub stopover. large car park, slightly sloping towards rear. Play area and beer garden. Friendly staff, with no charge to stay overnight if you're eating/drinking in the pub. No facilities as such but access to pub toilets when they're open. There is decent, free WiFi in the pub . I've saved the best till last.. the food really is to die for. Extremely good quality, large portions and very reasonably priced, definitely good value.
Der Pub-Zwischenstopp in Okeover Arms. großer Parkplatz, leicht nach hinten abfallend. Spielplatz und Biergarten. Freundliches Personal, ohne Aufpreis für Übernachtungen, wenn Sie in der Kneipe essen / trinken. Keine Einrichtungen als solche, aber Zugang zu Pub-Toiletten, wenn sie geöffnet sind. Es gibt anständige, kostenlose WiFi in der Kneipe. Ich habe das Beste bis zum Schluss aufgehoben. Das Essen ist wirklich ein Traum. Sehr gute Qualität, große Portionen und sehr preiswert, auf jeden Fall ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Personal amable, sin cargo por pasar la noche si come / bebe en el pub. No hay instalaciones como tales, pero sí acceso a los baños del pub cuando están abiertos. Hay una buena conexión Wi-Fi gratuita en el pub. Guardé lo mejor hasta el final ... la comida es realmente para morirse. Muy buena calidad, porciones abundantes y precio muy razonable, definitivamente una buena relación calidad-precio.

Ho tenuto il meglio fino alla fine ... il cibo è davvero buono da morire. Ottima qualità, porzioni abbondanti e prezzo molto ragionevole, sicuramente un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Vriendelijk personeel, geen kosten om te overnachten als je eet / drinkt in de pub. Geen faciliteiten als zodanig, maar toegang tot pubtoiletten wanneer deze open zijn. Er is goede gratis wifi in de pub. Ik heb het beste tot het einde bewaard ... het eten is echt om voor te sterven. Zeer goede kwaliteit, grote porties en een zeer redelijke prijs, absoluut een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

Friendly pub who were more than happy for us to park overnight. Food was tasty and the chef accommodated my weird allergies happily. Staff offered me to sit in pub to use Wi-Fi for work. Coffee and toast for breakfast £4.50. Happily return. Quiet night and pub reopened at 8am.
I intended to see if I could stay here this past weekend but on arrival the place was very busy with several campers already pitched up at the top of the car park. I popped in but there were no free tables to sit down and eat. This place is clearly very popular and I'd strongly advise to call ahead. As it was I felt to was too busy for me so left and found somewhere else to stay.
One of the best and most picturesque pub stopovers we have had. Friendly and warm Welcome from the staff. Food is delicious and generous. No cost to motorhomes . Just eat and drink in the pub.
Overnighted before Ashbourne half marathon. The pub was nice enough but completely booked out so even if you wanted a pint you were sat outside. We booked ahead and had a just tolerable meal at an outrageous price. £17 for sausage & mash. However it’s a great spot with a lovely walk along the river to Dove Dale and in easy reach of Ashbourne which is beautiful. We will stay elsewhere next time.
Only a couple of miles from the Tissington cycle trail and Ashbourne in one direction and Dovedale a little further in the opposite direction the Okeover arms was a perfect stopover. My Chefs Curry in the evening was delicious as was their full English in the morning ( they open at 8am) highly recommended. Note ask the owner for the printed page of directions for 3 walks
Fantastic park up !! stayed here last night after a walk in dovedale. Staff where brilliant and catered for my wife’s allergies. The food was incredible and the village is really quiet and peaceful. Well worth the trip

Excellent stop. visited 12 months ago, and it was OK. The business changed hands last June. Traditional fayre and continental now on the menu. I went English belly pork,wifey Malaysian curry. Both Excellent and not out of the way prices. Neither meal was born in a freezer and cooked in a deep fat fryer. Excellent experience top marks to the new management and staff.
Great place turned up here late and they kept the kitchen open to serve us food which was nice .great atmosphere and nice place to be highly recommended
Brilliant place to stay, parking is free for the night if you have some food or a drink in the pub, we arrived late so had breakfast in the morning and the food was great! Quiet car park too with no disturbances.
Stayed for our first ever “car park stay”. What an excellent introduction. Pub was lovely, setting was perfect and food, beer and sleep were all great. If all the rest of our experiences are this good we’ll be very, very pleased.
Great pub. Great staff. Great food. They are only allowed 4 vans for the night so it might be a good Idea to call first - especially at weekends. WiFi and TV good.

Stayed for one night in our motorhome and what an amazing place, I rang first and spoke to a very friendly and welcoming staff member to book one nights stay and upon arrival it’s absolutely picturesque, very quiet at night and nestled in a lovely small village. The restaurant is a gem and the staff are very nice, professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for the night with my daughter. Lovely, friendly pub. Ladies behind the bar were very polite and welcoming. I didnt book ahead but was welcomed to stay for free. Stopped and had a meal which was amazing!!!

Phoned up and no problem at short notice for two campervan s, we booked a table for food and drinks and as everyone else said it didn't disappoint. Great choice and very reasonably priced. would highly recommend .

Stayed one night for a cycle on the Tissington trail. Excellent place to stop, great pub, location, food. Kids enjoyed it too. Note: evenings get busy with table bookings

Stayed here for a few nights last week.Staff made me feel very welcome,probably top of my list for freindly staff, food and drinks fantastic. Perfect location for walks, start of the Tissington Trail.loved it here,will deffinaty return.Its free providing you have a drink/meal,it's the right thing to do.Had a couple of evening meals.Highly recommend, book ahead,only 5 vans maximum per night
Called up ahead to book a table with some friends who were staying nearby and we stayed with our motorhome overnight. Really great food, generous portions. The staff were really friendly. Our little one used the play area the next morning but not much because it was raining. No height barriers. Managed to get a spot that didn't need any block levelers closer to the entrance.
Reiterate everyone's comments about the great food and friendly staff. Great walks from the pub, we managed 2 out of the 3 and will return to do the other one.
Stayed for 1 night alongside several other motor homes. Not flat so needed chocks. We had a lovely meal in the pub and sat out till the sun went in, drinking on the outdoor benches. Staff were very accommodating, happy for us to use the toilets and we even asked if we could fill our water.
WHAT A FIND. Just finished a genuinely 'home cooked' meal of perfectly cooked braised pork with black pudding and freshly cooked veg - all piping hot and served with an excellent pint, or two. Thank you to the pub landlords for providing and overnight facility. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. Perfick!
Beautiful view and lovely staff, car park is spacious and off the main road, secluded and quiet with lots of picnic benches outside. gave them a call on the way and was all fine

Nice friendly pub, laidback, great food. Booked a table outside as we were just out of lockdown and were given one which caught the last rays of the sun in the evening. Great as it was still chilly in the shade. Large car park and you park wherever you want. Quiet village location with lovely walks around.
Free with meal or beers. Decent straightfoward food, nice beers, v friendly. Great location, cracking cycling,walks (Ashbourne 1/2 hr walk on footpaths, Dovedale not far other way). Hardstanding, chocks to be level where we were. Great stop - defo recommended
Not impressed by the lump of a ‘barman’ , went out of his way to be awkward. Arrived after lunch and even though I clearly stated my request was to eat that evening he seemed peeved and commentated : ‘food is finished’! When I enquired about off chance to park overnight even though I hadn’t booked , he made a great show of checking the book before saying nothing we have 5 booked’. The Roebuck completely different - welcoming and food outstanding.

Fantastic overnight stop; not a sound! Really good food and friendly staff. We phoned ahead, in the afternoon, to ask if we could book to eat, and stay overnight, and received a very friendly yes! Thoroughly recommend.
Phoned the Oakover Arms Pub on Saturday morning (26/09/20) but they were already booked up in the restaurant, but we were told we could park up anyway! My clever husband asked if they would bring our dinner out to us in our camper van, take away style! Which they did! It was actually really good eating a ready made meal & relaxing in our van. Portions were HUGE filling the square plate! I recommend the BBQ sauce chicken & hubby ordered the gammon - delish! The next morning we cycled to the Mapleton Carpark access to the Tissington Trail which is about 2 miles from the Okeover Arms Pub & then cycled the trail. Quiet night & good sleep in the Okeover Arms Pub carpark & you can use their loos while they are open! Highly recommended.
Booked at short notice , had a great night there. evening meal and drink was superb. The staff was so helpful . we even mmanged to have breakfast in pub. Will come again .
