we arrived in the dark with heavy rain. parked next yo the only other vehicle there another camper. Saw a sign for restricted parking so assumed we were OK. got a ticket for parking on a coach space. no coaches or cars. trued to get it squashed but had to pay 35 quid plus 10 quid for overnight. Shan't be going back. it's my fault but don't like draconian attitude to campers in general here

parked up and paid for 24 hrs ,paid for two bays as I couldn't fit into one which signs tells you to do ,nice view and pleasant walk into town , cliff at back of carpark and feels very safe ,just clean up don't make it obvious you are camping and there are no problems , toilets 10 mins away

Parked overnight in December with no probs. We have a discrete camper of 5,4m. Paid £1.40 for 24 hours but had to wake at midnight to refresh the parking on App…could not ‘extend’ on RingGo…perhaps a winter thing? Parked with 6 other cars, we were only camper.

The Freshwater carpark approach road is very steep and narrow but it's a huge carpark. I did pay for overnight parking and stayed overnight but wasn't disturbed. Not far from town centre one way, and an interesting coast path walk in the other direction. Leave no mess and try not to look like you're camping and you'll be fine ?
