Nice little park up. Great sea views. Quiet at night. (Not an issue for us - early evening car full of young people with loud music who left litter. We picked up the litter and placed it in one of the two provided litter bins.)

Einfach nur wunderbar!!! unglaublicher Somnenuntergang und eine total ruhige Nacht. Danke das es solche Plätze gibt. Bitte sauber halten!!!!!

Great views and level enough; choice of 3 areas, though not particularly sheltered. Right on Hadrian's cycleway - a great, signed, tarmacked often traffic free coastal route. And don't miss the Senhouse Museum at the top of the cliff - who knew old stones could be so interesting!

Great place to stay, quiet and peaceful. Slept well!

Fantastic stop over, go to the car park right at the end and if you park sea facing on the front rows you won’t need levels, I just put front wheels up and was fine. 20 mins walk right to the golf club or 10 mins walk left to town which has everything you could need. Facing the beach and bins too with good EE signal was a perfect stop for 2 night

Great spot, but some areas on a slope, best if you can tuck in next the grass verge and enjoy those stunning sun sets.

Dead end road car park. Bautiful views, perfect for sunset. popular spot but always plenty of spaces. shared the night with a motorhome. Early morning dog walkers. one person also drove past 1.30am and was beeping their horn but left quickly. (seems to be the new thing to do. had it happen to me twice this week so far) no reflection on the spot though. Great spot. Good EE signal.

I couldn’t find this place putting “The Promenade” into my sat nav, so gave up and went elsewhere. The next day I read the comments relating to the spot close by on the map and put “King St” into the sat nav and got straight to it. Great location, just me and one other camper o/n, but lots of people coming and going either dog walking or just sitting taking in the views. Stunning sunsets!

stayed here for one night very quiet roughly 8 spaces overlooking rocky beach, no facilities, no charge 10 min walk to pub, lots of Freindly local dog walkers, would stay again. Decent parking at lighthouse on the beach 5 min drive at least 20 spaces no charge, no facilities great views.

Locals driving beeping horns telling us and another that we can't park here. Worth driving an extra 10minutes up north for a coastal layby

Excellent stopover. Very quiet, unlike the parking over by the marina. Lovely views and great walks. If you need a phone signal go for a walk on the beach.

Flat large area with great views , walking distance to local shops and cafes albeit a little limited. Plenty of free parking and felt very welcome from the locals. No toilets but some in the town with a large pay and display car park. Well worth a visit

Spent 2 lovely days here with our 3 dogs. Popular with dog walkers all day and I'm not surprised. 10-15 minutes walk in to town with plenty of amenities. Well worth a stop over.

Perfect stop along side the English costoal path, free parking day and night no signs. Litter bins no toilets, lovely walking along the bottom or through the fairy footpath to the top, Spectacular views towards the Galloway coast. Definitely worth a stop.

Nice quiet spot at the very end of promenade, very little slope. Popular with dog walker in the mornings. No phone signal or WiFi but TV is OK.
