Owned by The Boathouse restaurant which is an amazing must visit if you like shellfish, this site is small and has only water, toilets and 1 shower with NO electric but the people and views make up for what it lacks. A definite secret you don’t want everyone knowing about. Tourers not allowed on the island, only camping and motorhome/campervans.

Zero stars. Camping is no longer available at the Boathouse or anywhere else on the island except the rather lovely and convenient Gigha Campsite just next to the ferry slip. With a white sand beach just across the road and super-clean facilities, why would you want to go anywhere else than this community-run campsite? Gigha is perfect for walking and cycling around.
Stayed here in August 2022 before the nearby Gigha campsite opened. Owners of the Boathouse were happy to let those dining with them stay overnight in the car park. The view is so pretty and peaceful to wake up to and if you like seafood then you will love the restaurant here!
Amazing spot to relax and have breath taking views. Great food and so friendly. Campsite is now closed here, there is a campervan site made available at the North of the island at twin beach point. Not great mobile reception if your looking to watch Netflix at night.
