I can confirm what all other reviews comment. Great pub, and if you park at the back, there is a great view of the cascade

Good transit stop. £5 to park unless you’re eating / drinking in. Which I would definitely recommend, food was excellent and staff welcoming. Level car park. Limited grass for dogs. Road quite noisy through the night hence 4⭐️s

Lovely spot, parked up and spoke to the staff in the pub who said we could stay for free, didn’t even need to pay but we bought a few drinks. External AC gets switched off at night so only noise is occasional passing car

  • 5/5

was able to stay overnight in the car park as long as we bought food and drinks, lovely staff and food was amazing! Was lovely to be able to have a few drinks and stay over. Very dog friendly, live music on Saturday night. Very welcoming, didn't feel like outsiders

Nice night in car park behind pub. Plenty of room, have wheel blocks handy if you want a level pitch. Car park is right opposite a waterfall cascading down the rock face. Lovely walk at Falls of Falloch just up road to the North. Lively and atmospheric pub - had the best burger I’ve ever had (Braveheart) plus great local beers and friendly staff. Will come again!

Awesome pub stop. Looks can be deceiving. Very rustic, food was great and very tasty and well priced. The car park out the back is large and some level spots for your van. We have a 7m van and no problems. Dogs can go in the pub, and to the rear of the car park down on the right there is a well worn track down and along the river bank for a nice dog walk. Highly recommend.

Grt place to stay over, staff so helpful. Buy a meal and drink and you stay for free. Watch out for the ghosts at night said to roam at night.

  • 5/5

Great stay, great pub! Buy a meal, an a few drinks! Great place to start a walk in the morning. Campsite down the road let us use their showers too. Great stay

Car park is sloped, we used our chocks and it was fine. Squeezed in near the bottom of the car park. Good food and lovely atmosphere. Nice historical option to have in the area.

Vol verwachting in de middag aangekomen. Vrijdag!

I can add an additional thumbs up to this place . The Drovers is the perfect pub for a camper stop over, each and every one of the staff were friendly and helpful, we enjoyed an evening meal of great atmosphere, food and live music! Highly recommend! Was around 8 vans staying and still loads of room! P.s ignore the no overnight parking sign, just go in and speak to them.

parked up in our campervan and went in and spoke with the staff about staying the night in there car park, no problem at all they said, lovely, fantastic staff, willing to help and give us drinking water from a out side drinking tap, lovely views. what a place to stay and the pub was great to with live music.

  • 4/5

Sehr schöner Ort, leckeres Essen, viele Fassbiere, freundliche Kellner.

Sehr nette mitarbeiter *****

Lovely spot right behind the pub. We parked our motorhome and asked the staff if we could stay the night if we would come in for some drinks later which was perfectly fine for them. Pub was very crowded on a Friday night but we managed to find a spot right at the bar. They have a good selection of food and drinks and the atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommended!

  • 5/5

Lovely food at a reasonable price ,sign on wall says no motor homes over night I just went in and spoke to a very helpful member of staff he said as long as you eat or drink here no problem lovely views .

  • 5/5

Nice parking spot with view of the waterfall, and get a decent pint in a lively pub. Toilets seem to be open most of the time

  • 4/5

Nice place to stay, you can stay for free when you get some drinks and/or food. Beautiful old pub, we had a live band playing. Great atmosphere with locals singing and dancing together with tourists. The parking place is not straight so don’t forget your levellers.

  • 4/5

This stop is at the Drover’s Inn. Great old pub/hotel with lots of interesting things to look at inside. Friendly staff. They allow you to stay overnight in the back of the car park as long as you have some food and drink. We also stopped in for some breakfast the next morning before heading off. There were a couple of other vans staying over too. Quiet overnight. Walkers start to arrive from 7.30am. There’s only a small amount of level parking so make sure to bring your levellers!

Great spot, grabbed a few pints and chips in the lovely pub. Asked if we could stay overnight and they said no problem and thanks us for coming in and spending some money instead of just trying to get away with it for the night. Great for climbing Beinn Chabhair in the morning.

  • 5/5

Great pub with loads of character and comfort food. We went for dinner there and realised we needed a permit to camp overnight but they were all sold out?! Asked the waitress if she had any suggestions and they said we could just stay at the back and there was a water supply despite signs saying ‘no overnight parking’. I think as long as you dine there and ask politely you should be fine.

  • 5/5

Drover's Inn is an amazing pub and one of the oldest licenced pubs in the country. Looks nearly unchanged from 1602. Vans welcome in the carpark as long as you are a patron. Great atmosphere, good beer selection and a vegan menu. Watch out for the midges though of course!

  • 5/5

Such a great local place to grab a few drinks and spend the night legally! We couldn't get a permit to stay locally and wanted to climb the next day so we ask the lady inside and she said we can stay here as customers. We had some great local ale and lager. Great stop with lovely staff and a lovely local (but kind) atmosphere! Menu looks great too!
