Paid parking at Cardinham Woods. Many hiking trails, mountain bike park (with rental), BBQ area, café, playground, stream (bathing for child and dog), toilets, garbage can. Place is flat, partially shady. £ 2 / 2h, £ 5 / day. Access is a bit narrow the last 500m (feasible to 2.50m width, height about 3.50m). Unfortunately ban on overnight stays.
