Große Wiesenfläche mit vielen Stellplatzmöglichkeiten. Atemberaubender Ausblick, toller Sonnenunter-/Sonnenaufgang. Abends kam ein Hirte vorbei und fragte nach einer Zigarette. Morgens einige Hunde auf dem Platz, aber alle sehr ruhig. Ein kleines Stück weiter oben gibt es Buden mit Essen und Souvenirs, sowie einige Wanderwege.

Herrlicher Platz. Schöne Aussicht und absolute Ruhe. Den Wind können wir leider bestätigen, dafür schläft man auf über 2.000 Metern und hat einen unglaublichen Sonnenaufgang!
Der schönste Platz, auf dem wir jemals standen! Es gibt 3 Ebenen, die trotz holprigen Weg mit unserem Citroen Jumper alle gut befahrbar waren. Alle recht eben. Uns gefiel es auf der zweiten am besten. Auf der ersten, die auf Höhe der Straße ist, stand von ein anderer Camper. Wir hatten einen wunderbar ruhigen Tag und eine sehr ruhige Nacht unter einem phantastischen Sternenhimmel.
Spent there 1 night completely alone, noone was near - was a but windy but nothing unbearable. We’ve seen two thunderstorms in distance but they dis not approached. There was a huge moisture on a sunset and thru whole night. Firepit available but no wood around you might want to bring your own. View is unique in whole Romania.

Super Ausblick. Der Weg ist etwas buckelig, aber mit Standard-T4 kein Problem. Es kamen auch Tagesgäste mit nem Twingo dort lang.

Beautiful and calm place for night. Amazing views
Facilement accessible à tous véhicules. Plusieurs possibilités pour se poser à différents niveaux. Nous sommes montés jusqu'en haut avec notre fourgon et étions seuls au monde avec une vue exceptionnelle. De là on peut faire une belle boucle de 8kms à pied sur les points culminants qui dominent la Transalpina. Notre meilleur spot de Roumanie ! Source d'eau à 2 kms au bord de la route.

Awesome place for a night. It’s really hard to find wood for a fire, so you should do it before you go there. Close to the spring next to the road (800-1000m). You don’t need a 4x4

It‘s called Drumul Strategic Transalpina. Totally worth it! Stunning views and solitude, rarely another 4x4er or sheperds. :)
