Parking across from King Arthur's Café. At the end of the parking lot, in a quiet corner, on meadow, quite flat, without shade, there is ample space for campers. Parking is allowed here day and night (extra charge). It is the cheapest place in town. The cafe opposite looks very nice. Tintagel Castle, the Coast Path, restaurants and shopping are within walking distance.

Great stopover. Owner is super friendly. Not perfectly level, but not dramatic either. Tintagel is well worth a visit. Need to pay cash at machine for overnighter as the machine doesn't recognise campervan tariff. Very peaceful night. This is the cheapest in the town, but all the car parks seem very campervan friendly. Recommended.

Stayed here last night, £3 for day parking, £3.50 6pm - 10am, 1 other van, mostly level, certainly use it again.

Was a level, well kept place to park but found the online payment option cumbersome. Tried to book overnight and system would not accept saying that all parks were unavailable even though there was only one other camper. A shame as it was a good place to park. We moved to another parking area just around the corner.

Thanks to tintagel to allow camping cars to stay overnight on parkings. Campers please leave the places very clean.

great spot to visit the tintagel castel. we payed by app which worked perfectly fine. so facilieties except for a bin around the corner. there is a italien restaurant nearby where we picked up pizza and they were deliscous :)

£9 for 24 hours right in the centre of the village. Payment machines covered over so we paid via a website with a code which was really straightforward. Lots of choice for parking and we found it really flat.

  • 5/5

Cheap rate, quiet, private, and loads of room. Can’t complain! Also a very short walk to Tintagel centre

Stayed here and had a lovely meal at the Old Malt House. Lots of space to park up. Even the Motorhome spaces are a little short of our 8m so you need to be imaginative or buy 2 spaces if large. Lovely walks around the area and a nice one or two night stop. Off season ideal as local roads are narrow and I assume challenging in summer.

nice car park with a grass area next to the van to sit out. great location

Thank you Tintagel. What an amazing space and only £3.50 Can recommend the Cornish pasties from the bakery and also the fish and chip shop. We were the only ones on here whilst there were a good few on King Arthur’s

Stayed here last week. Excellent. The attendant was really helpful and welcoming. Also allowed us to park our small trailer free of charge. Level parking on the grass.

Wir haben hier für 3,5£ sehr ruhig übernachtet. Danke für den Platz.

£7 for two nights and the day in-between using the “just park app” but had a knock from an upset resident this morning as he could hear my heater (I parked in the furthest corner). Parked in the dark last night and didn’t realise how close the houses on two sides of the car park are. For the sake of a couple of quid and not being so overlooked I’d go to the King Arthur in future

Well done Tintagel, It is a pleasure staying in a Cornish village that actually is campervan friendly! So we spent money in the Pasty shop! fabulous food and coffee, bought some bits and pieces for the van, and of course ourselves! £3.50 for the night, same again for the day. An absolute bargain. Went down to Merlins cave and some of the castle, stunning! Please support van friendly places.

  • 5/5

£3.50 overnight. Nice and easy. Just around the corner to the pasty shop. Ace.

  • 1/5

You can pay on the just park app and select the amount of hours you want so we paid £3.12 (19.00-08.00).The reason for the 2 stars is one morning we turned our engine on as we were getting ready to leave and some big chap who thought he was hard came and knocked on our van and told us very rudely to turn our engine off and we always wondered why nobody wanted to stay in that car park!

  • 5/5

Parked here for £3.00 all day to explore the lovely Village and the Heritage Site, we then paid £3.50 for overnight parking from 6pm to 10am the next morning. The car park attendant, a lovely chap was helpful.

  • 5/5

Super lovely area, only £5 for the night! shame the portaloo was locked! public loos are 100m away (50p charge tho)!

  • 4/5

The cheapest car park we found. We got here at 4pm and paid for 2 hours day rates, then overnight (£3.50 between 6pm and 10am). This gave us time to walk to Tintagel castle and explore the caves, and get yummy Cornish pasties from the bakery over the road- all half price at 5:45 which was a bonus ;) There was litter around, picked it up as it's great to have car parks that allow overnight!
