Large lay-by however there is a very large puddle in the middle of it at (March) which takes up a space. Beautiful views and very peaceful.
Grand tarmac étendu au bord d'une voie. Surplombant le lac et la voie ferrée avec un petit ruisseau qui coule à côté. J'y ai passé une nuit et nous n'avons eu aucun problème. Très peu de circulation après 22h.
Large tarmac lay-by to the side of a lane. Overlooking the lake and railway with a small stream running down beside. Stayed here for one night and had no trouble whatsoever. Very little traffic after 10pm.
Ein großer Asphalt erstreckte sich entlang einer Fahrbahn. Mit Blick auf den See und die Bahngleise mit einem kleinen Bach, der daneben fließt. Ich war hier für eine Nacht und hatte keine Probleme. Sehr wenig Verkehr nach 22 Uhr.

mx02bad30/12/2023Parked up at 7pm moving glass bottles and beer cans. No cars passed until 11pm. Then 4 cars come at once and a few moments later returned but pulled up along side playing a loud audio of a man’s shouting voice. It was enough for us to move on at the thought of them returning. Looked a lovely spot but would not return as it did not feel safe. Clearly a drunk yobs stop, sad but I’d avoid!
van-man-sam02/11/2023What a beautiful place to spend the night. We pulled up with the hope for an amazing view in the morning and weren't disappointed. We parked at 7 and only had 3 cars past us until 8am. We have a 7.5m mh and had no problems with the road or parking.
cjs89002/09/2023Good spot - quiet from 10pm-7am with no cars driving past. I arrived when it was dark, so it was lovely waking up to some lake views in the morning over the railway.

Naast deze parkeerplaats is een veld met toegang tot het meer en vuurplaats. Privéterrein, van de boer die er van bovenaf op kan kijken. 'Privat, keep out' staat op een bord en het hek zit op slot. Zoek de boer op zijn erf, niet de wedding farm, maar het pad voorbij het grijze huis. Wij kregen de code van het hek en betaalden 10 pond per nacht voor deze waanzinnige stek.

excellent spot ,the farmer in the house above the layby let's you camp in the field for £10pn,the field I front of the lake it's lovely! You pay the farmer at his house up the track, please respect the kind farmer !

Lake view, no traffic at night, didn’t get bothered and room for 3 Vans, no access to lake but car park further down will allow you access with Public Toilets. No overnight at that car park but stay here you’ll be fine. Little stream which is relaxing.

Nice little spot for a stopover, close to the road but quiet at night, nice view on the lake but no access, mini railway is an added bonus they gave us a toot toot as they went by!

Small area; enough for one van... beautiful views and quiet in darkness.. odd passing car in day light.. Beware theres only space for one van here with good views... The best spot for the night on the lake for sure; can't get to waters edge for miles though; large private bankside area. with big signs saying private..

One of our favourite finds so far. Really tranquil, watched the steam train go past in the morning. Ideal for a walk/cycle in either direction. Got our 7.5m moho in there with no issue.

Great little spot! Definitely big enough for two large vans. It’s a little lumpy but I still managed to get my transit level. Some cyclists and a few cars passing during the evening but no one bothered us. Very quiet at night so slept super well. Great view on the lake.
