We could not access the place as the street crosses a weak bridge with 3t limit
Petit endroit relativement plat à côté de deux entrées de terrain. En face de Lochindorb (possibilité de pêche gratuite à la truite et au brochet). Nuit très calme, pas de voiture et la journée très peu de circulation. Possibilité de randonnées sur les différents reliefs environnants. Attention nous avons dormi un jour sans vent et relativement humide donc présence de moucherons ! Mais nous n'étions pas équipés pour les chasser. Si le spot est rattrapé, il y a un 200m avant très proche de l'eau et 300m après, plus large et souvent occupé par des camping-cars. Celui où nous avons dormi est idéal pour un petit van mais peut potentiellement en contenir deux.
Small relatively flat spot next to two field entrances. Opposite Lochindorb (possibility of free fishing in, trout and pike). Very quiet night, not a car and the day very little traffic. Possibility of hiking on the various surrounding reliefs. Attention we slept on a day without wind and relatively wet so presence of midges! But we were not equipped to hunt them. If the spot is caught, there is a 200m before very close to the water and 300m after, wider and often occupied by motorhomes. The one where we slept is ideal for a small van but can potentially hold two.
Kleine relativ flache Stelle neben zwei Feldeinfahrten. Gegenüber von Lochindorb (Möglichkeit zum kostenlosen Fischen, Forelle und Hecht). Nachts sehr ruhig, kein Auto und tagsüber sehr wenig Verkehr. Möglichkeit zum Wandern auf den verschiedenen umliegenden Reliefs. Achtung, wir haben an einem windstillen und relativ nassen Tag geschlafen, also Mücken vorhanden! Aber wir waren nicht ausgerüstet, um sie zu jagen. Wenn die Stelle erwischt wird, gibt es 200 m davor eine sehr nah am Wasser und 300 m danach eine breitere und oft von Wohnmobilen besetzte Stelle. Der, in dem wir geschlafen haben, ist ideal für einen kleinen Van, kann aber möglicherweise zwei Personen aufnehmen.

Campersveda08/09/2023Traumhafter Platz. Durch ein Gespräch mit dem Ranger wurden wir informiert, dass es sich hier um Privatbesitz handelt und Camper dort nur geduldet sind. Das “Zugangsrecht” gilt nicht für Motorisierte Aktivitäten. Wir haben als Dankeschön etwas von dem Müll mitgenommen, der da leider rumlag.

Spot magnifique et agréable, paysage de carte postale. Nous y somme avec un CC de 8m sans aucun soucis d'accès. De la place pour au moin deux grands CC sans être l'un sur l'autre.
FannyPi23/06/2023Superbe spot ! Calme, Avec une faune très diversifiée ! On est réveillé au son des oiseaux. Superbe couché de soleil. Quelques midges mais rien de dissuasif.
pewin1309/09/2022Super belle endroit. Nous avons trouver une place un peu plus loin sur la route. Très belle vue sur le lac et le château. Peu de circulation. Peu de midge aussi car il y avait un peu de vent !

Beautiful spot, right next to the loch, no trees so unobstructed views, sunset, all very peaceful. Could be a once in a lifetime experience, staying here will be hard to beat! In fact, we stayed on a spot just south of this one, there are a few more places to park up than the ones registered on the app, all good as the road was quiet. It was very windy, plus side, no midges. We could see two other vans dotted around the loch edge, midweek after the Aug bank holiday. No signal unless you are set up a router, we got some coverage with O2. Leave no trace!
