Stayed here on a Sunday night. Parked on top section of car park. Nice and flat and enough room to manoeuvre a large Motorhome. Staff in the bar very friendly and the food and drink excellent. Will definitely be back. Thanks to the owners for this facility.

not sure if we got the new landlords or not, but still very welcoming. BH stay, so busier in the car park than shown in some pictures, but still a great quiet stopover. food is good pub fayre and hosts very friendly. A wee bit of road noise, but nothing that prevented a good night's sleep.

Very friendly hosts who are leaving the pub shortly. Great meal. Fantastic chips. Happy for us to Park sideways as wouldn't fit in a bay. Would recommend ?

A great place to stop over. Friendly staff and owners, very good food, and good drinks. A good place to park on the rear car park, quiet at night. We did a hike from the pub the day after and were allowed to leave our motorhome there while gone. Do call ahead as it can get busy

Great little pub stop over off the main road, was quiet though as you park in the top car park near the animals! No kitchen when we arrived (chef had a bad back) but still allowed us to stay. Had a couple of drinks, lovely pub inside and can imagine it’s busy at weekends. Spar opposite with butchers for all your needs. Cafe as well which did a great breakfast.

Absolutely brilliant place to stop. Owner & staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Foods amazing too. Definitely worth a pit stop.

Stayed here last night, great parking, really friendly staff, great food at reasonable prices (the veggie burger with jalapeños was amazing) considering its on the main road and there was an 18th birthday going on it was lovely and quiet at night. Love farm animals at the back. There’s a SPAR, cafe, Post Office and camping shop opposite and a BP garage next door. I’ll happily visit again.

Was hoping to spend night here but after a motor home with 3 blokes turned up and were hammered by 9pm plus smoking god knows what we came home . Which was a pity because its a great pub friendly staff great food.

Very friendly landlord. Good food and beer. Has farm animals, sheep, lambs, pigs and chickens at the back of the top car park so great for kids to see. Busy road during the day but quiet at night.

Stayed here last September and was a lovely pub and let’s you park for free as long as you have a couple of drinks in the bar. Level ground and had a couple of motor homes in at the same time. Dog friendly pub too. Just call ahead to confirm

Nice enough owners at the pub and a Ragetta Outlet across the road which came in very handy, nice stop over between places

Staff so friendly, and good pub grub. Great stay.

Friendly pub with parking for larger motorhomes as long as it's not too busy. food was good pub grub and not too expensive. they welcome motorhomes as long as you ring ahead and book table. in the middle of the beautiful Peak District National Park, and fuel, coffee shop, supermarket and an outdoor clothing shop within 100 yards. I recommend and will be back.

A great place to park overnight with space behind the pub for up to ten vans. Just contact the owner in advance and book a table. There were chickens, pigs and a HUGE rabbit at the back. Was worried they would wake us up in the morning but didn't hear a thing. The owner is really friendly and we had a great first experience of campervan life!

Great food welcoming staff, close to main roads intersection but sufficiently far away from car park that noise of traffic is minimal. Petrol Station and small supermarkets within sight and minutes walk from car park.
