Nous avons très bien dormi à part l'humidité et la chaleur de la nuit ! Endroit calme mais pas de service. Source d'eau à proximité à environ 50 m sur la route, juste en face de l'entrée de l'église (doit être actionnée à pied).
Possibility of parking near the city center, possibility to use the elevator (parksangiusto) and 10 minutes walk to the sea. The whole place is ok for parking and parking is free. We parked at the corner marked with the arrow in the picture. We slept very well except for the humidity and warmth of the night! Quiet place but no service. Nearby water source about 50m down the road, just in front of the church entrance (needs to be operated by foot).
Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums, Möglichkeit zum Benutzen des Aufzugs (parksangiusto) und 10 Minuten zu Fuß am Meer. Der gesamte Platz ist zum Parken in Ordnung und das Parken ist kostenlos. Wir haben an der mit dem Pfeil markierten Ecke im Bild geparkt. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen, bis auf die Feuchtigkeit und die Wärme der Nacht! Ruhiger Ort, aber kein Service. Nahe Wasserquelle ca. 50m die Straße runter, direkt vor dem Eingang der Kirche (muss mit dem Fuß bedient werden).

Abbiamo parcheggiato all'angolo segnato con la freccia nella foto. Abbiamo dormito molto bene tranne che per l'umidità e il calore della notte! Posto tranquillo ma senza servizio. Sorgente d'acqua vicina a circa 50 m lungo la strada, proprio di fronte all'ingresso della chiesa (da manovrare a piedi).

Wir haben nur einen schlechten Parkplatz am Hang gekriegt, standen halb auf der Straße. Auf den Parkplatz mit großen Camper zu fahren meiner Meinung nach nicht empfehlenswert. Wenn man unbedingt mitten in der Stadt schlafen möchte, für eine Nacht sicherlich machbar, wir sind jedoch wieder weggefahren. Ansonsten für Trieste auch eine ruhige Ecke
Great place for one, two nights. We came here about 2 pm and found a place for our van (7m long). No problem with getting there. Very close to the city centre. For free. Very quiet, we slept well.
c'est un excellent lieu pour se poser en van ! Gratuit et tranquille (à côté d'une école privée catholique et au-dessus d'un couvent) nous y avons passé une super nuit ! on recommande ! Aller sur la petite place pour plus de tranquillité Petite astuce : attendez quelques minutes si vous ne trouvez pas de place car il y a beaucoup de va et vient ! vous trouverez forcément une place !
Luogo tranquillo e comodo al centro con una piccola passeggiata. Non adatto a mezzi di dimensioni superiori a 5.4 metri in quanto le strade di accesso sono molto strette e il parcheggio stesso non è spazioso. Molto affollato, non è facile trovare un posto libero. Attenzione a NON procedere in discesa verso il convento dei cappuccini, si tratta di una strada chiusa da cui è complicato risalire...
I stayed one night in my car and it was fine. No noise, a lot of cars parked and complicated for vans. A lot of mosquitoes also, and very warm (maybe better down in the beach). But good for one night and good views.
Left the car here overnight, had a roof tent but stayed in a hotel in town. Safe and quiet during the day, a 10-15 minute walk to town if you don’t mind a huge hill on the way up. Interesting church and ruins and a memorial around.
Petit parking autour d’un parc. L’accès est vraiment difficile avec un camping car. Le parking est situé dans les hauteurs de la ville derrière le château; il faut passer des petites rues étroites. Beaucoup de monde et les places sont serrées. Proche du centre ville, poubelles disponibles et robinet d’eau potable (pas de possibilité de brancher un tuyau).

Buona posizione per visitare la città, molto tranquillo anche di notte non è passato nessuno e c'è una fontanella vicina. Unico problema il caldo zanzare in questo periodo.

Parking gratuit près du château, idéal la journée pour visiter la ville mais pas pour dormir. Beaucoup de voitures et de touristes. La police passe pour mettre des contraventions aux personnes mal garées.
Beaucoup de voitures sur le parking et beaucoup de places en pente. Il faut avoir de la chance pour avoir une place plate. A droite de la fontaine parking à peu près plat. Calme la nuit. Visiter l'église avant de descendre par l'ascenseur jusquau niveau -3 (à l'ouest du monument au mort près de l'église) pour découvrir la ville.
Busy parking place, but when you find a place you will have a wonderful stay. Very near the city center, 1 km. going down the stairs. Don't forget to visit San Giusto cathedral and surroundings. Beautiful sunset!
Hier rundherum gibt es viele Parkplätze. Zwar eng und man muss suchen. Aber mit kleinem Wohnmobil oder Campervan machbar. Kostenfrei.
Parkplatz leider voll aber weiter vorne am Brunnen gab es noch weitere Plätze. Außerdem kann man auch unterhalb des Parkes parken. 10 min Fußweg über einige Stufen bis ins Stadtzentrum.
Nous avons voulu la tenter en vue des commentaires précédent mais en arrivant un vendredi à 15h beaucoup de jeunes étaient dans les alentours à boire des bières et à nous regarder bizarrement, je ne me suis pas sentie en sécurité j’ai préféré m’éloigner de la ville
Dormito qui con la mia station wagon camperizzata. Esperienza da fare: la bora! Un vento fortissimo ma simpatico :) Ci si sente protetti in questa piccola porzione del grande parcheggio gratuito. Le case che vedete con la luce sempre accesa sono residenze per studenti quindi nessun problema. Ho gia fatto una passeggiata in citta piena di supermercati e qualche birra per addolcire il freddo.Super!
Habe mich genau an die mit dem Pfeil markierte Ecke gestellt, dort ist etwas mehr Platz auch für ein längeres Fahrzeug (meins ist 6m). Und wie in anderen Kommentaren erwähnt, war der Parkplatz ansonsten auch proppenvoll. … bisher mein nützlichstes Park4Night-Fundstück. Danke an den Ersteller!!

Parcheggiato di fronte all'oratorio nell'angolo contro al muro nella via senza uscita. Gratuito sempre, tranquillo e appartato nonostante il parcheggio sia stato pieno. Dormito in macchina, silenzioso. C'è una fontanella nel parchetto e il centro è raggiungibile in pochi minuti scendendo le lunghe scale. Il castello e la cattedrale di San Giusto sono sulla stessa collina a pochissima distanza.
Completo incluso a las 8 de la mañana. Hay que buscar por la zona.
As others have commented, it can be really busy during the day. We parked up for the afternoon, and when we returned in the evening a few spaces under the trees had freed up. It was the perfect place to stay; shaded, quiet, with an amazing view in the morning! Can't comment on facilities since we didn't need any/use any. Worth the steep drive up to it.
Super zentrumsnaher Stellplatz, leicht schräg, dafür mit Wasserquelle 50m entfernt (direkt vor der Kirche die Straße weiter runter) und sehr ruhig!
Super kostenfreier Parkplatz für den Tag! Nur für kleine Camper, Max. 6m geeinigt, da sehr enge und steile Anfahrt und der Platz sehr voll ist. Nachts war es uns aber viel zu heiß, sind dann runter an den Hafen gefahren, wo es etwas kühler war.
Très bon parking pour un van. Pour un CC nous ne recommandons pas car le passage est très étroit et le parking est très prisé. Nous avons très bien dormi même si nous avons été discrets. Parking gratuit et à 20min du centre bien que la montée soit rude!!

Very good location, but narrow, can be accessed by small motorhome or van. the parking is full during day and night. we were lucky and found a nice place in front of the "oratorio". the coordinates are not exactly, you have to go slow and carefully. Brazilians in Italy.
Für einen normalen PKW ist der Parkplatz problemlos zu erreichen. Wir haben uns erst auf einen Parkplatz an der Zufahrtsstraßen gestellt (dort stand auch ein Wohnmobil). Abends wurde dann ein großer Eckparkplatz frei, auf dem wir eine ruhige Nacht verbracht haben. Man steht direkt unter den Bäumen und hat einen schönen Blick auf die Stadt. Für einen Stadtparkplatz top!
Wir kamen um 21.30 Uhr, im gesamten Wohngebiet, einschließlich diesem Parkplatz waren alle Parkplätze durch Anwohner belegt. Dieser Platz ist nur für kürzere Vans geeignet da nur PKW Parkplätze vorhanden sind und die Zufahrt relativ eng ist.
