We love this Spot, lots of good walks, we did a 10.5 mile round walk to TanHill inn and back amongst others. To]he van that came with us wanted water and to fish the river so they went up to the farmhouse and spoke to,the lady as they own the campsite over the river, who has no issues with us using the lay-by and just took (with persuasion) money for water and fishing.

A beautiful place to stop by the river which had frozen over in places. Only room for us last night as there were 2 farm trailers parked up there. Very little traffic apart from a few farm vehicles which waved as they passed. No phone signal and no bins but great walks near by.

Very beautiful little spot. 1 other campervan the night we stayed (bank holiday). What little traffic there is on the road is drowned by the noise of the waterfalls. Not sure if permanent, but there was a proper campsite (tents, motorhomes etc.) in the field across the river, ~50m upstream. However the trees made it nearly invisible from our spot, and again no noise thanks to the river
