Thank you for the black waste disposal point now at the toilet block. Perfect quiet location with great walks

Stunning spot. Isolated and imposing. Views in every direction. Hard standing flat parking for 7 motor homes. Three others stayed over last night along with us. Toilets are close by and clean. No drinking water. Staying an extra night as so quiet and tranquil.

Pretty big parking lot with great views of the cliffs. It was almost empty on Thursday and got really full with cars on Friday. Beautiful beach and the hike to Old Man of Hoy. Good phone signal.

Absolutely superb. The toilets are an added bonus. Great views, great walks. You must stay here if you are on Hoy.

Spent an excellent few nights here - easy walking to the Old Man of Hoy, an RSPB trail and the incredible beach. There are bins and toilets nearby. Bring food though, as there are no nearby shops!

Excellent stopover to walk to Old Man of Hoy. Clean toilets.

An excellent spot 6 vans overnight walk to Old Man of Hoy was easy to follow and so,worthwhile. Don’t miss, the exhibitions about old Rackwick in the buildings near the hostel nor the restored Croft a little further on on the path. Good clean toilets. Definitely need donations box here.

Fabulous stopover, relatively flat hardstanding car park. Single track road with passing places to get here. Very quiet. We arrived the day before Good Friday and no one else here. 2 others joined us later. Space for about 10 vans. Toilets in a stone building but clean. No chemical disposal or drinking water due to rural position.

    No chemical disposal facilities here.

Just as the previous comment said, still free, clean toilets and access to awesome walks, only 3 mile hike to Man of Hoy. Mellow when we stayed, just a few quiet campers. 3G coverage.

Absolutely stunning spot, 5 vans in tonight, toilets are spotless, what a view out to the cliffs and beach ,need to add a donation box

Disastrous spot on the night I tried. Packed with huge campers and caravans, two with diesel generators. Looked as if they were gearing up for a party. Very aggressive vibe and I couldn’t get away from the place quick enough. I gather this isn’t the first time it’s been like that.

Great spot to stay to walk up to Old Man Hoy. Agree with other camper that they should have a donation box as facilities are fantastic. Definitely a great spot to camp out if you want to hike the mountain/ stroll along the beach

Absolutely beautiful location and has a nearby toilet which is cleaner than many campsites I’ve stayed on. Would happily pay to stay here. Area appears to be managed by Hoy development trust - who should put up a donations box!

Cracking spot to stay overnight. Toilets are open just a short walk away. Stayed here for two nights.

Amazing spot, stayed here for two nights. beach is spectacular, flat spots and theres a very well kept toilet right beside, open and safe during covid

Excellent spot, especially for walking to the Old Man of Hoy. We stopped here a Friday and Saturday night when the weather was great, so understandably it was very busy. All very friendly though, and quiet at night. Toilets are kept very clean, shame there was no donations box etc as we'd have happily paid for such a great location!

Walk to Old Man of Hoy from here. Toilets were open, as was toilets at the bothy. An inconsiderate Motorhome had a noisy generator running, so we parked up at another place, normally great place though
