the carpark is fine if you are in a low van, but bigger vehicles would struggle as branches are low! the carpark isn't that level, we had to park in the middle with ramps and still wasn't level. still a quiet night sleep with just a few dog walkers in the morning! suitable for a one night stop over!
so isolated. Beach more or less to your self. 2 bins. please keep it clean. quite nights sleep next to the sea so peaceful.
Extrem enge Anfahrt, Bäume u Sträucher zerkratzen das Wohnmobil. Uns kam ein auto entgegen, fast gecrasht weil so schnell, obwohl so enge Anfahrt.Parkplatz total eng u schief, tiefhängende Äste auch da. Strand bei Flut nicht vorhanden, für Hunderunde nicht optimal. Empfehlenswert nur für Vans u keine WoMos.Komisch dass der Platz viele tolle Bewertungen bekommen hat.Wir sind abgehauen
lovely, sheltered spot, right next to the beach. one other van was there overnight and some friendly dog walkers in the morning.
Un beau spot pour un fourgon ou un van. Pas beaucoup de places. Des branches mais pas de soucis en fourgon. Plage tranquille et accès au parc du château gratuitement par la plage. On entend et on peut voir la mer début octobre. Quelques promeneurs de chiens, en soirée et le matin. Attention il peut être difficile de faire demi tour si il y'a des voitures. Pas plat.
our first night wild camping, ideal location, lovely place, will be back next time we are in the area.

Lovely spot right on the beach. Had the place all to ourselves during the night. The road down is single track but very possible for high top vans (we are L3H3) would highly recommend this spot. Of course leave no trace please and have fun!
Bad road to get there, but it’s a nice spot. Be warned: it’s not for high campervans because the trees around the parking spot are very low. Good signal, no services except a garbage bin. Direct access to the beach which gives a nice view and calming sound. It gets quite busy with locals in the morning. There is a house opposite of the spot, behind some trees. Please keep it clean.

Lovely quiet spot, right near the beach. Two areas to park, lower vans (less than H2) would fit into larger area. Our van, L3H2, fitted into the smaller area immediately before the bigger area. Quiet, dark and the sound of the waves when the tide was in, perfect for us.
un spot génial ! plus prêt de la plage vous ne trouverez pas les locaux n'apprécie pas trop notre présence à première vue... mais ne pose pas de difficultés. nous avons réussi en caravane mais attention pour les très gros camping car à la hauteur des branches sur le deuxième parking!! pensez à ramener vos poubelles avec vous !
Here on our own.. locals are friendly. Wonderful spot. Wifi comes and goes a bit.
Great little park up for the night, more or less on the beach. Slightly sloping, wouldn’t say suitable for MoHo’s. Standard car size parking. Overhanging tree branches may affect pop tops depending on where you park. There is a stand along parking bay, try aim for that one like we did. All in all. Great overnight location. Car park will get busy in the morning with dog walkers, SUPs and people just getting some beach time.
Une belle et calme nuit avec le bruit des vagues qui s’est calmé à marée basse..juste l’endroit idéal avec un peu de vent mais à l’abri grâce aux arbres. Des poubelles à disposition et une baignade matinale possible (attention aux méduses) ! Super !
très joli spot. on a pas vue sur mer mais on peut l'entendre. elle est juste a côté. mais le point fort c'est de pouvoir aller de ce spot a pied jusqu'au château (qui est gratuit en dehors des heures d'ouvertures). place pour 2-3 vans/fourgon maximum. nous n'avons pas eu de soucis avec les branches et nous avons un jumper l3h2 (2m60 de hauteur)
Great spot, quite uneven, and trees mean high tops might struggle to park, plus little solar charge, but made for an excellent evening stroll along the beach to Culzean Castle and the subsequent woods, quiet night, great beach
Ein kleiner unebener Schotter Parkplatz schwer zu erreichen. Wir hatten mit unserem T58 (5,98m Länge und 2,90m Höhe) Probleme durch die Äste und Bäume zu kommen. Viele Einheimische zum Spaziergang oder Schwimmen geparkt. Mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.
Wonderful place to stay. Lovey beach. Lots of walkers in the car park until 9pm. After that we had it all to ourselves.
Here as we speak, beautiful place very quiet car park ground is far from flat but the views and location make up for it
Small car park at the end of the road to Culzean bay. Just follow signs to caravan park, the drive passed it then there is sign saying private road but drive by then turn left, the car park is a long lane with parking along side. There are some bushes along the way but if you are lucky you will get a spot in front of one of the gaps. Easy access to the beach and views out over the Firth of Clyde and around the bay. Bins are available but toilets are closed lovely spot quite busy with dog walkers but then quietened down just us and two motor homes at the moment.
