A perfect park up! Views are beautiful.

  • 5/5

Direkt an einer mittelmäßig befahrenen Straße. Der Parkplatz scheint sehr beliebt und wir standen dort noch mit anderen Campern. Dennoch sehr schön direkt am Fluss gelegen und lädt zum Verweilen ein.

Sept 23- Beautiful little spot for my micro camper. very quiet the only people around were some late night & early morning swimmers. A little traffic but had stoped almost completely by bed time. Free Parking & very clean. so greatful to of found this spot.

    no overnight parking sign now

  • 3/5

Chouette spot mais plein en weekend

  • 5/5

Decent place to stay with a nice view of river, had 2 campers pull up during evening so clearly a popular place, would recommend for a night!

  • 5/5

A lovely park up for our trial run in our newly converted van. Tiny bit of road noise but not much that bothered us! We came during flood warnings so it was a little bit boggy. Nice and quiet with relaxing bird sounds. Not great if you need good signal, ours was very poor but didn’t matter for one night.

  • 5/5

Lovely little spot, nice views of the river, will definitely be back in the summer to do some water activities. Some road noise but nothing to really complain about. There was no one else around but it is is January and there are flood warnings currently.

love this spot. fishing not allowed so it's not full of those people, no footpath so noone walking by, and incredible views! only other people ever there are other campers, who all follow sensible rules and keep quiet. no trash visible anywhere the following morning! one of my favourite spots, just be careful during rain as it gets wheel slippy muddy!

  • 4/5

Overlooking the river is nice! Road was fairly busy during rush hour but has quietened down now. Have ok signal EE 4G! Dog will no doubt swim in the morning ?

  • 4/5

Lovely spot by the Thames,a little muddy in places after rain, slight road noise, weak 3G/4G on virgin mobile (Vodafone) ok with Tesco (O2)

  • 4/5

lovely spot by the river, can get very, very busy in the summer and quite small for larger vans. beautiful.

  • 5/5

Amazing site, gorgeous views and lots of birds. stayed for two nights, traffic quietens down at 6 ish and starts again at about 6am. A few Paddle boarders arrived at 10 but they were all lovely. I thoroughly recommend going for a swim as well!

  • 4/5

Très chouette lieu de baignade mais très prisé par les locaux et voyageurs en eté donc beaucoup d’aller venue et pas super calme. Chouette balade à faire le long de l’eau.

  • 5/5

Amazing spot in nature and as close to the river as you can get! parking gets busy with people coming to paddle board but all were friendly. No bins so please leave no rubbish and look after this park up or we won't have places like this to stay anymore!!

  • 4/5

spot très calme la nuit malgré la proximité de la route. quelques nageurs viennent dans la tamise. place pour 4-5 van/fourgon

  • 5/5

Perfectly beautiful spot, amazing view and quiet at night. Road is not too busy, so absolutely recommended! A morning swim is also possible

  • 5/5

Absolutely lovely spot! Pull right up to the river side, such a peaceful spot for morning coffee. Stayed one night with my daughter, felt super safe. Peaceful night sleep. There is a very road near but not very loud at night. 4 other vans stayed too, and woke up to some wild swimmers! ✨

  • 5/5

Nice spot along the Thames. Some places on the left have low branches, if you have a motorhome, Park on the right. Road noise a bit but no bother for us

  • 5/5

Even with no sun on this day it was still a really beautiful spot. Passing cars noise but that’s it. No bins. Muddy. Pot holes. Low hanging tree branches.

  • 5/5

A great little spot for a night or two if you fancied. just pulled in from the road with 5 clear spots for parking next to the water. well sheltered. when we arrived there was 1 other van. by 9 there were 5 vans and a car. slight noise from passing vehicles in the night. not great to walk to anywhere from as the road has no walkway.

  • 4/5

Great little spot for my first night in the conversation! nice spots to choose from. only me and a car last night. no other visitors. safe and road noise isn't a problem.

  • 5/5

My third consecutive night here; it’s blissful. No noisy teens; a Ford with half of Halfords stapled to the back pulled in but drove off immediately when seeing they weren’t alone. Lovely and peaceful tree-covered spot by the water. Made friends with a duck who I fed heartily and he returned for breakfast. Friendly and chatty locals who visit regularly for a swim. Highly recommend.

  • 4/5

Stunning scenic spot during the day but can be ugly at night. Very popular in the wee hours with local ‘youth’ and their cheap bangers done up as dragsters toking the weed, NO2 or whatever else is available on any given evening:( Swimming is great and with a dodgy trek up the road 200yds, there is access to the Thames path - which is beautiful here.

  • 5/5

Brilliant little spot. enough room for half a dozen vans, right on the river. a little traffic noise but settles down late at night. no bins or toilets.

  • 4/5

Fabulous views and great to paddle board from, no hastle overnight either, very quiet would stay here again insta- onedog_onevan

  • 5/5

    nice place

  • 1/5

Forgot to mention it is 5m from quite passing road. we stayed 30 min but the atmosphere was heavy with people turning around the campervan at night or staying in cars around us. no RV except us, only locals in cars ... I'll avoid this one

  • 5/5

Busy during the day but emptied out at night (3 vans) - beautiful spot right by the river and perfect for swimming (on a meander soon to be an oxbow lake). Road right behind the car park but not too busy. Would come again. Pub 9 minute waltz away on the river. Scenic and delish.

  • 1/5

Went back for a second night. Was busy, but managed to get in. Left around 9pm as lots of undesirables using cannabis.. Did not feel safe

  • 5/5

    What a fantastic stop over

  • 5/5

Grand little spot. Clean fresh river right next to where you can park. Deep enough to dive in. Stayed through the day and overnight with no hassle from any authority

  • 5/5

Fantastic night here. level pitch. very scenic loop in the Thames suitable for wild swimming. quite busy during day and early eve with paddle boarders and kayakers. we were the only overnighters - very tranquil and woke to fabulous sunrise. Free public toilet in Lechlade a mile away open 8am with great butcher/deli opposite to pick up breakfast fare...

  • 2/5

    Pretty but busy

  • 4/5

Small car park just off the road, the odd car pulled in until midnight no issues. 100% stay here again.

  • 1/5

Tried this place 3 or 4 times, every time woken in early hours by local lads in cars, loud music and finding gas cartridges all around in the morning. Even felt people tampering with back of van. Shame

  • 4/5

Place for 7-8 vans. Peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately not many walking paths around but it is a perfect place if you just want to relax. Be aware that it’s right next to the road, so if you have dogs they will need to be kept on a lead. The only place to use the toilet is behind a patch of trees, and it’s obvious that everyone goes there, as there are bits of toilet paper strewn everywhere.

  • 5/5

Turned up at 4 and it was full of cars with people paddle boarding and enjoying the weather however as cars left camper started to replace them would recommend getting here early however you can fit more then 4 vans here .

  • 5/5

This place is brilliant ! We drove an hour to be here and it’s fab ! If you have a paddle board , or kayak , boat whatever make sure you bring it . We car camped and we can look straight over the water . It’s right next to the road but not noisy you can’t miss it . There was 2 other over night motor homes here and younger lads who were drinking , swimming and using the rope swing . Which sadly snapped haha !

  • 4/5

Beautiful spot. No facilities. Busy in summer as lots of people coming to launch kayaks etc. Good spot to swim.

  • 5/5

Great little spot. Only room for 4 vans, close to road but very little noise. Will certainly be going back
