Kaposvár, Unnamed Road

Very nice and calm place to stay at. The easiest way to approach is from Kaposfüred, through Szőlőhegyi utca. There's a (usually dirty) public toilet next to the lookout tower. On the other side of the lake, as part of the village Toponár, there's a public beach. Swimming is not recommended (the water is full of fertilizer from the surrounding fields), but there are some restaurants and free showers and toilets next to the beach. Parking is not recommended there, since it's a very busy beach and not the best kind of people visit it during the night. (I am local, I know.) There's a new cycling route around the lake, it's highly recommended. There are also a lot of spots around the lake that are great for fishing.

There are many levels and many places for cars, you can choose places closer to the lake (e.g for fishing) or bit further away. We saw electric outlets, not sure if they work, though. At this time, there weren't many mosquitos, but this could change. There is a nice bicycle path around the lake, so be sure to take your bike with you. There is no height limit, and 4x4 is not necessary.

Pleasant place to stop during the day or for 1-2 nights. In addition to the playground, there is also a fireplace, a bathing pier and a boat dock. With a smaller van you can stop right on the shore at the fishing spots. A bicycle path leads around the lake.No service. I recommend it.
