We arrived on Christmas day to a deserted parking lot but despite having waterways cards the entire place was shut down. Cards didn't work and none of the many taps on the wharf worked.

lovely quiet spot , definitely come back

Loved staying overnight in this marina. Plenty of room for multiple campervans. Public toilets are clean and shower is nice and warm (accessible with Waterway card - available in Paddy’s bar). Restaurant is closed but pub serves good pub food and sells daily necessities. Lovely little walk around the church (with public toilet).

Free parking area with lovely view looking out onto Lough Dearg. Convenient toilet block with Waterways Ireland smartcard. Freshwater taps on marina. Not too accessible with hose so we accessed with our 10 litre container to top up. Around 12 motorhomes there but plenty room in large parking area.

Nice views of the marina and very quiet. There is a cute little ‘fairy path’ to stroll along and the village is only a few minutes walk away. However if you want to use the facilities then buy a Waterways card in advance from somewhere else as, at the time of writing, The Derg Inn and the shop in the village have closed down. Paddy’s Bar is open and they do food but you have to book in advance.

Great spot on lake with some nice grass areas for picnics. Toilets, water, showers & a playground for the kids!

Motor homes can stay overnight, no signs prohibiting. No caravans or tents allowed. Short walk to 2 good pub/restaurants. There are free public toilets and garbage disposal. Also there are newer facilities you can access with an Irish Waterways card€8 or €13 available at the little shop next to the pub. Couldn’t find any grey or black water disposal. Spacious parking area. Excellent spot.

Nuit calme, quelques camping-cars, pub et restaurant à 600 m.

Great spot to park up. Very busy during peak times, summer, bank holidays etc. Nice walks, quiet village with small shop and a couple of bars with a decent restaurant.

Great place to park up. All the people with boats are very friendly. Very busy though during the summer, and you may have to move on but not to worry as there are a few places nearby that you can park. There are a few taps around where you can get fresh water. Two great pubs/restaurants with lovely food in the village which is only a few minutes walk from the marina. There is also a shop there to get your supplies.
