Don’t normally like lay-bys but this one is shaped like a ç and there’s space for one vehicle in the squiggle. Stunning views!

This was a great wee spot for an impromptu stopover! Sheltered slightly from the road and the traffic noise was pretty quiet after 7pm.

Good spot. Road gets quiet at night so isn’t an issue and a lot better than the other lay-bys this side of Loch Ness!

Not many spots round Loch Ness off of the road but this was far too sheltered for us in August as the air was thick with midges. Couldn't have any opening on the windows, got too hot and decided to go somewhere else.

We spent waaaaay too long looking for a decent place to park around Loch Ness before we finally decided to try this spot a wee way out of town. This was so much better than anything we were able to find near Urqahart Castle. Quiet and comfortable. Just what we needed for the night!
