(NE61) Morpeth - Unnamed Road

Ein schöner Ort, wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht, nachdem alle Spaziergänger am Abend gegangen waren. Am nächsten Morgen kam allerdings ein Mitarbeiter der Stadt und hat uns darauf hingewiesen, dass man nicht übernachten dürfte und Strafe zahlt, wenn man es doch macht. Wir haben den Tag noch am Strand verbracht, sind dann aber weitergefahren.

Lovely park up. Sand dunes and beach 500yds away and nature reserve across the road. Even saw a rare bird on the morning we were camped there.

Flat car park. Very quiet night. 2 other vans with us. 100m through the dunes to the best bay in Northumberland. One rubbish bin.

we arrived here late at night and only one other camper was here. lovely quiet place to stay and was perfect in the morning with the cafe opening at 9am for a coffee and breakfast and toilet facilities. Great place to stay with our dog with a lovely beach walk in the morning.

Had a quiet night stay minimal road noise, 300 yards away great cafe does excellent food, pricey though.

nice stopover. rm for 4 ave mohos. quiet ,good beach access , one rubbish bin. no height restriction good cafe up the road. quite level too.

no height barrier on this small car park opposite the wildlife lake, we managed to fit our motorhome with no problem. quiet night.

We stayed last night with one other van parked up. Fortunately we were both fairly small units as the car park is small and popular with the local dog walkers, bird watchers and fishermen. A quiet site with a fair bit of wildlife. I watched a stoat run up the road and a barn owl flying around.

East accessible car park. Flat. Heigh barrier 6ft6”. I got through in my T5. Quiet spot. Saw an owl and had a walk on the beach.

Mooie plek achter de duinen. Heerlijk om op het strand te gaan wandelen. Parkeer met aandacht voor de vele wandelaars ;)

We live local to here, we, and most of the other locals have no issue with anyone camping here as long as you park considerately, NOT like the van in the main picture as this is taking up several spaces! It is a very popular spot in the early morning for dog walkers so park sensibly!

Quiet and flat place btw a quiet road and the dunes. Small car park becoming busy in the morning, so try not to take too much space. Bad network.

Beautiful spot… close to a lovely beach and nature reserve. Busy during the day but just us after sunset. Road quietens right down at night so just the sound of the curlews. Peaceful nights sleep. Treated to a beautiful murmuration in the morning. Highly recommend.

We stayed here last August, great undisturbed sleep. Just be cautious there were reports last year of cars/campers being broken into, mainly for those going for a sunset walk or wild camp on the beach. Nice and quiet

Seems ideal. No sign to say no overnight so we stayed 3 nights but... on 2 occasions we had one of the locals telling us we weren't supposed to do it as they said there were signs elsewhere.

Stayed 2 nights. 11th to 13th of May, both days arrived late. Nice and quiet

We spent a lovely quiet night in the campervan, on our own here, only a few case passing on the adjacent road. We visited the nature reserve opposite, spotted curlew, lapwing, common greenshank, amongst others. On the other side, over the sand dunes was an amazing long sandy beach. There is a really nice cafe just down the road.

Toller Platz zwischen den Dünen. Kurzer Weg zum Strand. Ein Café ist auch in der Nähe. Höhenbeschränkt auf 2m. Hatte mit meinem VW T6 noch einige Finger Platz.

Small car park great nights sleep beach just over the sand dunes we had a 7.5mt Moho no problem parking. There is a public toilet in the village we’re you can empty your chemical loo

Had a good nights rest here last night. No other people and only a few cars passing on the road. Great spot between beach dunes and nature reserve full of wildlife! Nice cafe just down the road.

We stayed one night on 16th July. There was one other camper there. Very quiet, vast beach.

Had an undisturbed night here- perfect spot for beach. People arriving to walk dogs and enjoy beach etc but no comment about us staying
