Called in on a Saturday afternoon for two coffees the owner said we could stay the night if we wanted for free if we bought a breakfast or a drink in the morning from the cafe before we leave, unfortunately we needed a campsite he was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction of a couple.

Spent the night parked in the Eat & Sleep carpark with 3 other vans on the 19/20 September 2023 Shaun is the most accommodating guy you could hope to meet With the generosity of the Free overnight parking on his premises if you do use the carpark/water/toilet Please give him some reward by having at least a coffee or preferably a Hearty Breakfast before you depart in the morning

Great spot, full English from 7am-11am for £5.95, water tap, toilets and air at petrol station was perfect for morning refresh.

Great place for a stopover just off of the A1 , we arrived late so the gate was closed but if you take the road towards Lindisfarne and then immediately turn into ocean drive you can enter this way (looks like somebody’s driveway ) we got breakfast in the morning in the cafe which was very reasonable , the garage is open until 10pm and stocks more then your average fuel station and has toilet

beautiful park up, the guy running the cafe was really friendly, happy to give advice on local area and up for a chat, which is nice for me as a solo traveller. he's more than happy for vans to park up the night for FREE if you have a meal which can be as little as £4, more than fair, please don't abuse this as some have done in the past or we could lose great spots like this.

The owner is a lovely man and gave us some tips on our visit to Holy island. He also explained where to walk the dogs and how to get in/out if his gates were closed via his drive. Pitch was flat and hard standing in front of some glorious yellow rapeseed. Esso garage opposite had clean toilets and closed at 10pm. It also has a hidden water tap. Bumper breakfast & nice meal. Highly recommend.

Stayed here November 21. Shaun very friendly and helpful. Perfect spot to stop before or after visiting Holy Island. Road to entrance looks like it is going to private houses. Breakfast very reasonably priced, and as we had a dog, we took back plates to eat in our MH. Phone number on door to ring if noone around. Thank you Shaun...lovely to chat and advice given very much appreciated

This was a little gem of a find...Shawn the owner of the cafe is a real gent...the spot is perfect...cafe is lovely, breakfast was brilliant...very surprised at the lack of road noise as it's literary a stone's through away from the busy A1..had two very quiet nights here,Just chilling and a wonderful cooked breakfast, what more can you ask for!! we will be back

Lovely stay. Very quiet and peaceful despite being just off the A1. Great place to stay just off Holy Island. Had breakfast in the cafe in the morning, it was lovely and the guy running the place was very welcoming and gave some great tips for visiting Holy Island.

Arrived late but couldn't figure out how to get in - shame because had to move away so won't be nearby for breakfast in the morning. looks like a fantastic place to eat!

Warm welcome, quiet night despite the proximity of the A1, delicious breakfast in the café.
