this place now has no overnight parking and camping signs
Grand parking isolé pour les promeneurs à Footlock Wood. Loin de la route et très calme. Attention barrière de hauteur ! C'est très bas. Nous conduisons un bongo Mazda et n'avions que quelques centimètres à revendre (je pense que c'est probablement la limite de 2,2 m). Ça vaut vraiment le détour tant que vous serez en forme.
Large secluded car park for walkers to Footlock Wood. Away from road and very quiet. Beware of height barrier! It is very low. We drive a Mazda bongo and only had a few inches to spare (I think it’s prob 2.2m limit). Definitely worth the drive as long as you’ll fit.
Großer abgelegener Parkplatz für Wanderer nach Footlock Wood. Abseits der Straße und sehr ruhig. Achtung Höhenbarriere! Es ist sehr niedrig. Wir fahren einen Mazda Bongo und hatten nur ein paar Zentimeter übrig (ich denke, es ist wahrscheinlich 2,2 m Grenze). Auf jeden Fall die Fahrt wert, solange Sie passen.

Mellehic06/08/2022Il y a un gros panneau "no camping" ... (+ "no overnight camp here"). Probablement un endroit sympa pour le picnic, mis à part ça.

Super endroit. Parfait avec un chien car possibilité de plusieurs circuits aux alentours. Très calme. Le T3 passe tout juste

Grande place, route à proximité tres calme la nuit. Terrain bien plat selon les places. Limite de hauteur OK pour un T6.1 Pas d'interdiction de camper la nuit et gratuit, parfait !

Really nice spot for a night. Quiet, nice place for a walk. We were the only van there. Popular spot for dog walkers, all pretty friendly. The barrier is LOW, around 2.1m - We got under fine in our VW T5 with roof rails on! No rubbish bin, so take your rubbish with you. Would recommend!

Perfect for night sleep, we were alone too. Quiet, free, high barrier but we were OK with mazda bongo. Nice area to walk in the woods. During the day quite busy as people come in and out constantly to walk their dogs. You can't feel it when in the wood though.
