Wir haben die Zufahrt von der E75 bzw. E92 genommen und wurden vom Militär gestoppt und zurückgeschickt. Der Bereich ist Militärgebiet an dieser Stelle. Wir konnten auch sehen, dass die Straße überschwemmt war.

Endroit vraiment agréable au sommet d'une colline entourant le magnifique et calme lac Karla. Pas du tout touristique, mais ça vaut un jour et une nuit là-bas. Bien sûr, vous pouvez rester juste au bord du lac, mais au sommet de cette colline, vous aurez une vue magnifique, un superbe coucher de soleil et la paix: pas de bergers, pas de pêcheurs, pas de chiens errants, moins de mouches ou de moustiques. Bon pour la nuit. Une route de gravier facile y mène, un terrain plat devant une chapelle. Vous y trouverez un abri, des bancs et des balançoires pour les enfants (ou vous ...).
Really nice spot on top of a hill surrounding the beautiful and quiet lake Karla. Not touristy at all, but worth a day and a night there. Of course you can stay just by the lake, but on top of this hill you'll have a great view, great sunset, and peace : no sheperds, no fishermen, no stray dogs, less flies or mosquitos. Good for the night. An easy gravel road leads there, a flat spot in front of a chapel. You'll have a shelter there, some benches and swings for the kids (or you...).
Wirklich schöner Ort auf einem Hügel rund um den schönen und ruhigen See Karla. Überhaupt nicht touristisch, aber einen Tag und eine Nacht wert. Natürlich können Sie auch direkt am See bleiben, aber auf diesem Hügel haben Sie eine großartige Aussicht, einen großartigen Sonnenuntergang und Ruhe: keine Hirten, keine Fischer, keine streunenden Hunde, weniger Fliegen oder Mücken. Gut für die Nacht. Eine leichte Schotterstraße führt dorthin, eine flache Stelle vor einer Kapelle. Sie werden dort ein Obdach haben, einige Bänke und Schaukeln für die Kinder (oder Sie ...).

Lynne3321/03/2024Quiet spot with amazing view and sunset. Lovely little chapel. Don't come when it's windy. There is a big blonde young dog that can be intense and jumps against the van and makes scratches but he is sweet and just wants some cuddles and food. Please take your trash with you the cans here are full & not emptied regularly, so the dog reaches them and it ends up everywhere. Take care and enjoy!

Wunderschöne Aussicht, aber maximal für 1-2 Camper. Mit über 6Metern wird wenden schwierig. Kühe und ziegen kommen vorbei, manchmal auch die Hofhunde vom nächsten Hof

We had a very peaceful night here. Military have closed a road going towards it (think because the lake flooded) but once we got there, it was lovely. A military 4x4 arrived at about 1am but they stayed in the church and didn’t come to question us.

Great spot overlooking Lake Karla, a birdwatchers paradise! The access road is not easy but still manageable with an ordinary van.

Prachtige plek! De zwarte hond is er nog steeds en maakt het goed. We hebben hem weer voorzien van wat eten en hij werd vergezeld door een witte hond. Ook die hebben we verzorgd al was er wat jaloezie tussen de twee. Een rustige nacht met prachtige zonsondergang. Kaarsje aangestoken in de kapel. Een plek om van te genieten en goed achter te laten.

Prachtige plek. Uitzicht op het meer met uiteenlopende vogels. Terrein om de kerk heen is afgesloten met een hek en heerlijke banken. Ik zijn één ook goed te rijden met een alkoof van 8m X 3.5m.

Très beau point de vue…. Le point GPS n’est pas tout à fait précis. Il faut quitter la route et monter par un chemin pentu en gravier. Carrossable.La chapelle surplombe le lac.

Really quiet place with an incredible view. There is a really nice but needy black collie/Labrador who seemingly lives here. We fed him a lot and built a wooden structure for him to lay under in what was none stop rain. Any updates if he is still doing good would be appreciated

guys, the road uphill is very steep and rocky. when you are uphill its very windy. Its only place for vans and 4x4 campers. no way to go there with a long and heavy 2wd campers.
MarleneBastian20/10/2022Schöner Spot. Sehr ruhig. Jetzt noch schöner, wir haben 5 Beutel Müll gesammelt. Der Mülleimer eignet sich nicht um euren Campingmüll auf zu nehmen. Bitte in der Stadt entsorgen, dann haben alle was davon.

Toller Platz! Die Aussicht auf den See und der Sonnenuntergang sind traumhaft. Abends kam ein PKW an und drehte die Musik für 10 Minuten auf (ein bisschen komisch), fuhr dann weg und kam auch nicht wieder. Für Wohnmobile über 7m wird es schwierig oben zu wenden. Standen alleine hier für eine Nacht. Zum Teil lagen Feuchttücher auf dem Boden.

Superbe vue. Il y avait déjà un van donc nous nous sommes posés quelque virages plus bas sur la coline. A plat. Et la vue était là aussi.

Fabulous spot in front of the church. Very quiet with lovely views over the lake and surrounding countryside. The sunset and distant storm were spectacular. The church carpark is at the foot of the hill. Follow the track from the carpark up the hill.

Très beau couché de soleil mais ensuite nous avons subit une invasion de moucherons et autres insectes indésirables. Nous étions sur le coin au bord du lac et avons migré en haut à La Chapelle mais ce n’est pas mieux. Obligé de tout éteindre et de passer à l’insecticide. Il va falloir qu’on revoit nos systèmes de moustiquaires qui n’ont pas l’air du tout efficace s

Schöner Stellplatz. Der Sonnenuntergang ist wirklich super schön! Das einzig nervige waren die super vielen Fliegen!! Deshalb der Stern Abzug. PS: Wir haben dem Hund einen wasserkanister aufgeschnitten und hingestellt. Ist beschriftet. Er steht an der kleinen Kirche, bitte nachgucken, ob noch Wasser drin ist und evtl. nachfüllen, wenn ihr da seid :)
thehappyhippievan21/05/2022Haben dort eine ruhige Nacht mit zwei anderen Campern verbracht. Schöner Ausblick auf den Lake Karla vor allem zum Sonnenuntergang. Anfahrt ist über eine holprige Kiesstraße nach oben, aber machbar. Es gibt einen sehr lieben Hund hier, der nur etwas Aufmerksamkeit und Wasser braucht.

Nous avons bien fait car l'endroit est splendide, très calme, avec une vue imprenable sur le lac et les montagnes. Le demi-tour est fait mais ça aurait été compliqué avec d'autres campeurs présents.
Masty323/07/2021Tolle, ruhige Lage. Leider etwas verschmutzt, weil der Abfalleimer wohl schon länger nicht geleert wurde. Anfahrt grenzwertig für grössere Womos, da steil und Schotterweg.

Alsolut Top! Schöne Aussicht und auch ohne Fernglas einiges zu beobachten. Kühe vorhanden somit auch deren Hinterlassenschaften. Kapelle eingezäumt mit großräumigen Vordach, Bänke u Tische vorhanden, ebenso Schaukeln für Kinder. See nicht zum baden geeignet.

En effet très bel endroit pour admirer les oiseaux au calme. Ce promontoire offre une belle vue sur tout le lac. Arriver en fin de journée pour assister au coucher de soleil. Nous avons grimpé la petite route en gravier avec notre capucine de 7m. Demi tour en haut un peu chaud mais faisable en s'y reprenant à plusieurs reprises. Plate-forme plate pour passer la nuit.
