(700 14) Gouves - Unnamed Road

Petite zone semi-plate sur un sol de gravier à la jonction de la route. Convient pour un maximum de deux camping-cars. Il y a aussi quelques places de parking supplémentaires sur la gauche sur la colline, à côté des deux petites églises, en gravier et semi-plates également. Possible avec camping-cars <= 7 mètres de long. Il y a un robinet d'eau à côté de l'une des églises mais cela ne fonctionnait pas quand nous y étions. Pas d'autres installations, mais c'est vraiment calme et tranquille. Il n'y avait littéralement que trois voitures qui nous dépassaient pendant les 1 jour et 2 nuits pendant notre séjour. La vue n'est certainement pas la meilleure de Crète, mais loin d'être laide ou ennuyeuse. Il y a une grotte sacrée à proximité sous l'une des églises. La visite est gratuite et il y a une cheminée que vous pouvez utiliser. Assurez-vous de ne pas traverser directement la ville de Gouves, car il y a une partie qui n'est praticable que si vous avez moins de 2,5 tonnes. Mais il y a beaucoup de routes dans de très bonnes conditions à l'est de la ville qui sont parallèles et aboutissent au même carrefour avant Skotino. Si vous utilisez Copilot GPS, il vous guidera comme je l'ai décrit ci-dessus. Les routes en béton menant au spot sont toutes en très bon état et seuls les derniers mètres sont en gravier. La réception est super.

Small semi-flat area on gravel ground at the junction of the road. Suitable for a couple of motorhomes at most. There's also a couple of additional parking places up to the left on the hill, next to the two small churches, gravel and semi-flat as well. Possible with motorhomes <= 7 meters long. There's a water tap next to one of the churches but it wasn't working when we were there. No other facilities, but it's really calm and quiet. There was literally only three cars passing us during the 1 day and 2 nights while we were there. The view is certainly not the best in Crete, but far from being ugly or boring. There's a sacred cave nearby below one of the churches. It's free to visit and there's a fireplace which you can use. Make sure not to cross the town of Gouves directly, because there's a part which is only passable if you are under 2.5 tons. But there's a lot of roads in very good conditions to the east of the town which run parallel and ends up at the same crossroads before Skotino. If you use Copilot GPS, it will lead you like I described above. The concrete roads leading to the spot are all in very good condition and only the last couple of meters are of gravel. Reception is great.

Kleine, halb flache Fläche auf Schotterboden an der Straßenkreuzung. Geeignet für höchstens ein paar Wohnmobile. Es gibt auch ein paar zusätzliche Parkplätze auf der linken Seite des Hügels, neben den beiden kleinen Kirchen, Kies und halb eben. Möglich mit Reisemobilen <= 7 Meter Länge. Es gibt einen Wasserhahn neben einer der Kirchen, aber es hat nicht funktioniert, als wir dort waren. Keine anderen Einrichtungen, aber es ist wirklich ruhig und still. Es fuhren buchstäblich nur drei Autos an uns vorbei, während wir 1 Tag und 2 Nächte dort waren. Die Aussicht ist sicherlich nicht die beste auf Kreta, aber alles andere als hässlich oder langweilig. In der Nähe einer der Kirchen befindet sich eine heilige Höhle. Es ist kostenlos zu besuchen und es gibt einen Kamin, den Sie benutzen können. Achten Sie darauf, die Stadt Gouves nicht direkt zu durchqueren, da es einen Teil gibt, der nur mit weniger als 2,5 Tonnen befahrbar ist. Aber es gibt im Osten der Stadt viele Straßen in sehr gutem Zustand, die parallel verlaufen und vor Skotino an derselben Kreuzung enden.
