Amazing view of all the fields and animals, big enough lay by for a vw, we arrived here at 9pm and stayed until 7.30am no problems, very little cars drove past but when they do it’s fast and shakes the van a bit but if you park up on the grass it’s fine!
No lay-bys at all, just pull in areas for a narrow road for two way traffic to pass. We didn’t stay because it just wasn’t safe! Despite how quiet the road seems.
Quite a few laybys on this road to choose from. Beautiful walks and sunset just up the road. Really lovely spot. Cars pass every few minutes and can be quite fast, other than that lovely and peaceful.
Stayed overnight a few times. good walks towards old hill fort, Might be privately owned. The picnic area looks derelict. Even the sign is half hidden and worn out.
Spent the day here. Cars pass every few minutes, but quiet apart from that.
